You must all be crazy if you think players at Halifax are being paid. Many moons ago they were in the national leagues with players being paid loads of money. Then the money man sadly passed away and his unsuspecting wife called a halt to proceedings and they effectively went bust. Once a good club but their facilities have been left to decay for decades. I wish them all the best as they are on their journey to get back up the leagues, but I think there is a tale to tell about paying players and what happens when the money runs out.

I was not sniffing at Heath… too close to the treatment works!!!! My son is signing there tonight. And my daughter’s boyfriend plays there. So purely a visit to watch other coaches in action. Always learning and bettering my skills.
But I am sniffing for another club. 🤣

Castleford are the last club to be getting involved throwing mud at Halifax with regards to paying players.
You have been around long enough to know what goes on. Thats why the club is where it is and where it will no doubt stay!
£9,600 is small fry compared to Castlefords commitments.
