I think he is interpreting the new sanctions rather than reporting a disciplinary outcome.

Good clubs can always be let down by any Dimwit, It doesnt alter the fact that Selby are a good club who many are envious of with their support and ethos. 14 weeks is nowhere long enough as I have said if the issue is as previously assumed.
Whatever the truth is it does not make them a bad club. Its how they deal with it that that matters.

Just funny, for me at least, that folk like yourself jumped to declare how good a club Selby are without knowing anything about the incident.
Would you have afforded one of the clubs considered more ‘unruly’, say Moortown for example, the same leniency?

Doubtful, very doubtful.

Whilst, if true, it's obviously a horrible thing to do....a rush of blood can be forgiven. The lad can serve his time and learn from it. Also I can't see how a club can be held responsible or blamed for the spur of the moment actions of a single player. If the player was at a club with frequent similar incidents and therefore a cultural problem then that's a different matter.

I don't think anyone can seriously say that's the case with Selby. I'm sure the player feels pretty humiliated and ashamed of his actions (and if not, Selby can deal with him).
