Rochdale 31 - 16 Goole

Wasn’t there today at Rochdale but the old cliche a game of 2 half’s.
Goole won the 1st half 16-0
Rochdale won the 2nd half 31-0.

Not sure if their pitch has a significant advantage one way but it would seem that way 😂

It was a good result and just what was needed. However Old crocs scoring at the death gave them 2 bonus points which was a scrum-half.

With 8 games to go, staying up is in our hands. If we win enough we'll survive and if we don't we won't! Five out of eight remaining matches are at home which will be helpful.

However Old Crocs and Brid are in the same boat, they will be trying to do exactly what we are!

The pitch runs exactly North-South, South-North so obviously one side is playing up a very big hill. Perhaps you should make a visit and see our formidable facilities and you can then comment on it.

A great game at Woodhead on Saturday. Brods were the better side and showed they can grind out results but they struggled to break down Dronfield, a length of the field intercept for the brods swung the game in their favour in the second half.

OBs should go on to win the league now but with Rochdale and Selby to play away from home, I wouldn't be putting my house on it just yet.
