Good morning folks. Another interesting set of results from the weekend, some of which came as a surprise (no prizes for guessing which ones).

Focus now turns to the upcoming weekend and there are some huge games in store for the neutral.

Goole vs Glossop - 45-12

Moortown vs M&N - 38-24

Morley vs Dronfield - 26-17

Old Crossleyans vs Bridlington - 22-27

Scarborough vs Old Brods - 25-14

Rochdale vs Selby (MOTD) - 18-26

Keen to hear people’s thoughts and predictions but one thing I will say, some important fixtures which could be an early indicator of where certain teams will finish in the league table. Goole to run riot, Moortown to continue their late surge, similarly Morley doing the same, Brid to sneak it at crocs, Brods to flop it and Selby to solidify their promotion year.

Very keen to get predictions out this week Maverick

Goole v Glossop - Completely Agree, this could be a cricket score. Goole to rack up 50+

Moortown v M&N - Malton and Norton are a good side and although Moortown got the job done against a poor OC side last week I don't think they're back to the peak of their powers. Moortown to win, losing BP for M&N

Morley v Dronfield - Two sides in the middle of the pack that can cause upsets but also seem to slip up in the games you'd see as a gimme. As with most games this week I don't trust the traveling side Morley to win by a point 21-20.

Old Crocs v Bridlington - A massive game at the foot of the table, Brid have a very winnable game at home next week so a win here would get them out of the mire. Very rarely back brid on the road but with a couple of suspensions and injuries at OC they'll sneak this one. 10-19

Scarborough v Old Brods - Brods should have enough to beat Scarborough but a couple of key injuries last week and the fishermen on quite some run. Honours even in this one 20-20.

Rochdale v Selby (MOTD) - Rochdale back on their home patch are a tough outfit to beat. Dale let my predictions down away at Scabs but I'm backing them to do the job at home 28 - 26 could be a cracker if both teams turn up.

Looking at Selby's run in after this week, only Brods at home looks a major fixture, do they have one hand on the trophy should they win on Saturday? I think so

Goole vs Glossop - I hope the score isn't too large for the travelling Glossop contingent however it'll be Goole coming away with some rightly deserved spoils.

Moortown vs Malton and Norton - Moortown are back on the forum it seems after some favourable results - Pumba and his clan seem to have created an enemy in Old Crossleyans, still can't work out what the issue there is. Moortown to win here should the weather get a little better, 5 point home win.

Morley vs Dronfield - Morley with the shock result and Dronfield are really slowing down now, I can't see them regaining much form. Morley to edge this one. 4 point win.

Old Crossleyans vs Bridlington - Old Crossleyans in disrepute with their players not behaving on the pitch (rich coming from me I know!) and off the field spats too. Potentially a club that has Yorkshire 1 in the proverbial wing mirrors. I fancy Bridlington to come and win here, Bridlington with a 5 point win.

Scarborough vs Old Brodleians - Have Old Brodleians been found out? Suffering at the hands of Morley and Rochdale may suggest they don't have the legs to take this league to the final weeks. Scarborough under the watchful gaze of the bandit have found some form, and this will be a difficult test for Old Brodleians. Unsure if Old Brodleians have the grit to get through this one but I am going to have to back them on league position alone. 4 point win for the travelling Young Guns.

Rochdale vs Selby - KOTW I am not too sure on the 'one hand on the trophy' comment, with us being unable to put away the likes of Goole who knows. Rochdale are formidable at home with a well balanced team and loud crowd. I think they go into this game as odds on favourites and leave as league favourites unfortunately - lets just hope a few of them are still in the bad books for their performance on and off the pitch in Scarborough! Begrudgingly, a Rochdale 5 point win.

Goole v Glossop – Big home win for Goole.

Moortown v M&N – Match between the two of the clubs I tipped for the top four at the start of the season. Expecting a close game but if M&N are at full strength then just a win for them, below full strength and a Moortown win.

Morley v Dronfield – Close game but taking home advantage to decide the result. Morley win but with Dronfield getting a bonus point or two.

Old Crocs v Bridlington – A game that could have a major bearing on who gets relegated. Close game that could go either way but home advantage and last weeks problems to lift Crocs to a close home win.

Rochdale v Selby – MOTD I’m expecting another close game but just a win for Rochdale.

Scarborough v Old Brods – League positions says Brods but taking the Scarborough revival to continue.
