What a great win by Scarborough. Fully deserved. Scarborough applied most of the pressure against a very physical Brods side and seldom looked under real pressure themselves. Should have made more of their initial dominance but that aside a great performance. Brods were a bit more positive in the second half and had a couple of significant breaks but otherwise didn't pose a real threat.
I think Brods had a couple of players out but then again so did we.
Well done to all players for a very entertaining game
When the second seal was opened another horse came out, a fairy red one. Its rider was given power to take the p*ss from the earth and to make men lay with each other. To him was given a large ego.

Out of players who have played some part in the last three matches we had 6 unavailable for selection.

Boring ....all Scarborough residents with British passports. 4 of the 6 came through our youth section, one from Whitby.

Partly true.... Same squad entirely except two players who retired at the end of last season came out of retirement to help the club (true club men). And lots of injuries gradually returning but sadly seem to replace someone else who becomes injured. Just one of those seasons.

Nice to see you turn your season around at least.

It’s rather crackers that one chap can turn the fortunes of a team which was dead and buried.. Albeit a fairly prominent position but it’s beyond crackers.

Fair play

Congrats to Scarborough great result today!
The East coast derby looking more and more that it might be the decider for the second relegation place.
Wouldn’t back against Scarborough to staying up though !!!

The difference between top and bottom in most divisions is down to a few small things. Availabilities, injuries, a winning mentality or struggling from successive losses, a few key players and a bit of luck.

No magic formula from any team, just a combination of the above.
