Does anyone have any thoughts on who should and who shouldn’t be in the team? No doubt Dufferlad will think the starting 15 from Driffield tax haven should be in it, and he himself should be coach. As a die hard neutral I would like to know everyones thoughts

From the games I have witnessed as a neutral, this is the team I would select.

1. Eddie Westaby - York
2. Duncan Smith - Alnwick
3. Will Scholey - York
4. Darren Barry - Blaydon
5. Sam Brady - Harrogate
6. Archie Fothergill - York
7. James Colclough - Ilkley
8. Adam Brankley - Driffield
9. Matty Drennan - Doncaster Phoenix
10. Harry Shackleton - York
11. Joe Morrison - Heath
12. Callum Burn - Alnwnick
13. Tom Hainsworth - Cleckheaton
14. Robbie Rix - Driffield
15. Ben Magee - Ilkley
16. Lewi Jackson - York
17. Saif Boussaada - Heath
18. Dan Cole - Heath

I would have selected more Driffield players, but I have already hit the salary cap.

A surprisingly reasonable team, and not any surprise inclusions.
Yorks Front row was the best I’ve seen this season.

Duncan Smith brilliant player but limited game time against Driffield away and quiet game at Kelleythorpe.

Darren Barry was quality in the lineout.

Drennan was quality against Driff, but played in the backrow and centre in fixtures this season.

Shackleton was a close second, and Moir was 3. But when Dan Cole went to 10 at Kelleythorpe it changed the game for Heath, although it was a loss, the style of Heaths game changed completely, and looked a constant threat.

Haven't seen every team tbh ( Scunthorpe, Blaydon and Doncaster ) but seen most. Been to watch Sandal, York and Pontefract on several occasions. Although I haven't seen Blaydon, put Jenkinson in from last year. Brankley best player I have seen this year.

Interestic topic of conversation. I have seen all teams play this season, and some more than others. Agreeing with Differ Lids previous comments on the York front row being the best this season, so that is why I would select all of them. There is alot of talent in this league, and it is very difficult to name just 1 match day squad.

I've only seen Driffield but thought they're 8 was outstanding.
