However as a club who has paid for a period of time given their recent history in the national leagues, it would be difficult to imagine what the future of Gates 1st team would look like with out player payments, but at least the club would have a pitch for all those mini and juniors to play on.

I guess the pitch will take a few years of work to get the soil condition/drainage into proper shape.

As above
It would be difficult to imagine what the future of Gates 1st Team payments were stopped.

Not difficult to imagine ?-Looking at the other teams in the league - It is called bottom end of the table possibly bottom 2.

The future would probably be the same as the Georgians, who no longer play, I believe. I may be wrong but I dont see a future for a one team club that pays players, however much, who are mostly only there for the money and have no real affinity to that club. Eventually the birds come home to Roost. Both Gate and Otley used to put out several teams but are now one team clubs along with Tykes who are an amalgamation of previous multi team clubs Roundhay and Headingley. Where it will all end I dont know but if people at the helm of such clubs think its progress, personally I would have to strongly disagree.
