The accounts BRB is referring to are May 2023!!
I know BS we’re looking at improvements to the clubhouse and obviously this has happened as the accounts show.
Their long term loans have increased by some 80,000 and short term loans by 9792 having been zero the year before.
Without knowledge of who the lenders are or indeed if these have increased in the year to May 2024 it is difficult to speculate why they are suddenly in the financial mess that they find themselves.
Other interesting bits wages and coaching costs increased by £10000. With sponsorship and donations increasing by £13500.
It just goes to show , I am sure that BS are not alone in this struggle, that you cannot run a rugby club on bar income alone, their other income outweighs bar by some £15000.
I make no comment on paying players as it is not apparent from these accounts except from what would appear to be paying a player coach in the year to May 2023.
Good luck to Neil and his fellow committee men with the future financial stability of the club I hope it works out.
