Good opportunity to put down a marker early on. Also see only 1 break week during the first 10 fixtures, not sure this was the point of reducing the fixture list as there's less free weekends than ever and certainly no room for cup competitions.

Scheduling fixtures on 21st December seems really stupid whatever league you are in. The likelihood of the pitches being playable then is questionable anyway but it's still stupid to have fixtures that close to xmas.
