Best of luck!

Big Apples v Snoozers: Fortress Bramley will be the undoing of many contenders and starting here will be a close run home win. Bramley -7

Excuses R Us v Dunno: Too hot, pitch too hard, missing a few cricketers yada... The heavy mob to make hard work but start off with winning ways on the road. Dinnington -7

Old Farmers v Bed n Breakfast: Assuming the home side found somebody suitably computer literate to register their players on GMS, this might prove a difficult place for B's to start their resurgence. Northallerton -7

Dysons v Laundry Boys: Can the hosts capitalise on the disruption caused by HLH defectors, maybe? Ossett -7

Rugrats v Orcs: Age profile nicely reset to low 20s again and youngster up for running all afternoon. Ripon +7

Yawno v Ca$h Cow$: The magic carpet will e a fine test for this season's mercenaries, who will doubtless be setting their sights on Y1 from day 1. Aladdin and co to get the upper hand though. Yarnbury +7

Good to be back, I’m gonna have a go at the weekly predictions this year but i don’t have high hopes.

Bramley -7: home advantage to take this one although roundhegians do have the back line to trouble them on a dry track

Dinnington +7: I think there has been some disruption to the preseason of hemsworth so because of that I’m going Dinnington, hemsworth to improve as the season goes on though

Northallerton +7: winning becomes a habit as does so does losing promoted teams will still be on a high

Ossett +7: will it be a repeat of the first game of last season or the last both were relatively easy wins for home teams, I’m backing the boys of course

Ripon +7: baptism of fire for the boys from mount doom, good side ripon. Halifax wanna track their steps for the day running side to side as ripon spread the ball.

Yarnbury +7: Baildon dropped off back end of last year and yarnbury don’t lose many at home

Bramley Phoenix v Roundhegians - never really sure what to expect with either of these teams but Bramley are a difficult team to beat at home. I would expect Hegians to have regrouped after relegation the year before though and be looking to push back up the table. Roundhegians -7

Hemsworth v Dinnington - Hemsworth circling the drain last year and would expect similar this season. Dinnington +7

Northallerton v Bradford & Bingley - game of the day for me. Bees have had a big recruitment drive with a lot of returning faces who have played for them at much higher levels. Northallerton at home are a reality check for anyone though, especially in the pack. Going off what I know of North and what I saw of Bees last year I'm going for a tight home win. North -7

Ossett v Huddersfield Laund Hill - if the rumours are to be believed it could be a long season for HLH. Back Ossett at home most days anyway. Ossett +7

Ripon v Halifax Vandals - I think this will be a tough introduction to Y2 for Vandals. They should be confident after dominating Y3 along with Northallerton but Y2 is a big step up and Ripon are a team building towards a promotion push. Ripon +7

Yarnbury v Baildon - both teams started well last year and then fell off after Xmas but should both really be pushing for promotion this year. Yarnbury to win a close one -7

Bramley Phoenix v Roundhegians: Tough spot to go to at Bramley but expect Roundhegians backs to do the job, Roundhegians -7

Hemsworth v Dinnington: Not much free flowing rugby on show, expect Dinno's pack put them ahead in the early race to avoid Y3, Dinno +7

Northallerton v Bradford & Bingley: If the rumours of Bees trying to stop the rot by throwing cash at it are true, they could be in with a shout this season, although Northallerton is a tough spot at the best of times, Bees -7

Ossett v Huddersfield Laund Hill: Ossett had impressive home form last year, suspect after a summer exodus HLH will just be happy to make it out of the portaloo changing rooms after full time, Ossett +7

Ripon v Halifax Vandals: Expect vandals to take a few scalps this year, not at Ripon though, sweeties at half time will spur the rugrats on, Ripon +7

Yarnbury v Baildon: Match of the Day, expect Sasquatch and his band of pint-sized backs to do the business over the mercenaries from Shipley, who will be left waiting at least another week for their 'petrol money', Yarnbury +7

This is what Saturdays are about!
Bramley v Roundheigns- at home with the Bramley massive what else can I say Bramley +7.
Hems v Dinnington- think Dinnington will take the points here Hems might have a few still playing RL. Dinnington +7
Northallerton v Bees- I think this will show where the bees £ has gone tough start. Always a tought game up there . 🐝-7
Ossett v Hudds LH- Ossett will have all the advantages here home win +7
Ripon v Vandals- think Ripon will claim the points here by a few. Vandals need time to adjust Ripon +7
Yarnbury v Baildon carnt anything other than the young guns putting on a display +7 home win.

Good luck to all teams iam sure the Y2 group will fly the flag. Isn't it quite without Ribby 🤔

Good start folks thanks.

Vanny, you didn't offer a points difference for Dinno?

Agree it won't be the same without the flagman, can't see much activity on Y1 to excite him so might be better off sticking with this predictions league?
