Now then. Ripon don't and never have charged an entrance fee. Visitors on match days are given a free programme and invited to make a voluntary contribution to the collection box taken round the touchline at half time.

£3 seemed to be around the average but I’ve seen anywhere from 0-£5 from Y3-Y1

North Ribb were charging £7 a game last season, bet they've put it up to a tenner now they are edging towards the national leagues?

Come on Mr Locked,
you know full well it was £4 last season, unless you vaulted over the fence (which I think improbable). This season it is £5 as our travel has gone up by over £1000 as well as a doubling of utilities after coming to an end of a fixed price contract.
Pity that your 2s couldnt travel to Ribb tomorrow. A bit disappointing as we had sponsors etc.

I stand corrected Flaggy, I must have been scammed by that snotty kid who was collecting money at the gate last season. I too am very disappointed at Ripon not fielding a 2nd XV. Only 8 players available when we had around 30+ for three of the four pre-season friendlies. Unfortunately that's the way of the worked these days as players juggle multiple responsibilities that compete with playing availability.

I'd rather be in t'sunshine!

NorthA have upped their price to £4 this year. Various discussions/arguments about the worth of it. However, I’ve been told that the RFU insist on clubs charging an entrance fee at this level which makes me wonder why Ripon don’t? 🤷🏼???
North also failed to field a 2nd team this week, hopefully a one off, but times are getting difficult to attract new players.

Can anyone confirm this? Not something we've come across before.

Having had to be aware of all the various Regulations I certainly don’t recall seeing anything on the subject.

We're sure with our Club Secretary's "connections" with HQ, if there was a requirement to charge at Ripon we would do.
