Been a funny season so far. Don’t think many would have had Pythons, Ribb and Wath in the top 4 and I’m sure no-one would have had West Leeds and Wensleydale in the bottom 2! Only 4 games in so plenty far to go yet. On the other hand it’s 18% of the season over so clubs won’t want to leave it too long before getting wins on the board.

Beverley v Harrogate Pythons
Bridlington v Pocklington
North Ribblesdale v Wath Upon Dearne
Old Rishworthian v Leodiensian
Wensleydale v Keighley
West Leeds v Hullensians

Some teams certainly needing wins... Agreed, I hear some bad injuries out of Pocks camp so we wish them lads well.

Bev v Pythons - We need a win. Pythons going great guns 4/4 wins and we are 4/4 losses. As much as we need a win, this will be tough, but we'd fancy our chances at Home and some key players back this week. -7 Bev

Brid v Pock - East Yorks Derby... always a good sceptical but can only see one winner here +7 Pock

North Ribb v Wath - Yorkshire 2 boys both 4/4 wins. I imagine that 100% record will change for Wath this week. As much as they've had a great start, I hear Ribb are the real deal with their 10 running the show and kicking goals from anywhere. Rib +7

Old Rish v Leo's - Close game this one with both teams near the bottom, I would image Rish will be up for this as see this as a must win already. Close but -7 Rish

Wensleydale v Keighley - Not sure what is going on at Wensleydale but can't imagine this will be the easiest of weeks for them. Keighley are slowly going under the radar with attention on Ribb. I suspect they'll  carry on winning ways here. +7 Keighley

West Leeds v Ensians - Again, West Leeds struggling and this time last year we was all talking about them for Promotion. Now, they are staring down the barrel, i think they will come good but not this week. Ensians to carry on their form and keep marching on up the table. +7 Ensians

Bev-7 Surely Bev cant go another home game without a win
Pock +7 think they will have too much for Brid who will be bolstered by the arrival of two Saffers today,
Ribb +7 Got to back us at home. Wath not traditionally great travellers but will pose us problems I am sure.
Rish -7 Home advantage to count
Keighley +7 Form says it all
Hull +7 Ensians impressive start to continue at Leeds expense

Beverley v Harrogate Pythons - Beverley haven't been far off in most of their games so will probably feel unlucky to be 0-4 so far. Despite our 100% start we're under no illusions this will be a really tough game and we'll have to raise our performance again. With one point separating the sides over two fixtures last season I can see another close one. Always back yourselves though, Pythons -7

Bridlington v Pocklington - Bridlington are going to need to sort their defence out if they want to pull themselves back up the table. Pocklington will be hurting after last week and I think they'll bounce back and take a close one. Pock -7

North Ribblesdale v Wath Upon Dearne - long away day for Wath, especially with North Ribb on fire. See no way for Wath to upset the apple cart here so going for a comfortable home win. Ribb +7

Old Rishworthian v Leodiensian - Leos popped their cherry last week but they aren't always the best travellers. Rish will be desperate to get a W on the board, especially at home and will be going all guns blazing here. Rish -7

Wensleydale v Keighley - hopefully Dale have regrouped after last week's walkover but I think this will be a very comfortable away win. Keighley +7

West Leeds v Hullensians - West Leeds improving performance wise with some returning faces so I think this one will be competitive. Hullensians will have confidence though and I think that will give them the edge. Hullensians -7

Beverley v Harrogate P – Going  for a high scoring game with Beverley getting their first win of the season.

Bridlington v Pocklington – The battle of East Yorkshire and league positions and current form won’t count for much. All about who want the win most, so in front of a vocal Dukes Park crowd just a Brid win.

North Ribb v Wath- MOTD for me, think Ribb will have too much for Wath. Ribb bonus point win.

Old Rish v Leos – Expecting a scrappy game that could go either way. With no confidence home win.

Wensleydale v Keighley – Keighley by plenty.

West Leeds v Hulls – Closer gam than league positions suggest for no rugby or form reason just  a West Leeds win.
