Hi Gents, Hope you dont mind me starting predictions this week despite Pock not being in Regional 2 but I've found myself some spare time to take a look at some more grassroots rugby.

Moortown Vs Donny Phoenix - got to side with Moortown here after the Doncaster abysmal start. Another Bradford and Bingley? Moortown +7

Old Brodleians Vs Bradford Salem - tastiest fixture in the North this which is why I’m having a look at the league and forum. Got to hope Brods knock Salem down a peg or 3. Brods -7 and be worth the entry.

Rochdale Vs Goole - comfy home win for one of the league favourites? Rochdale +7

Scarborough Vs Old Crossleyans - Scarborough quietly going along alright and will be looking to beat a team struggling to get any momentum. Scarbs +7

Wetherby Vs Morley - tasty game this one overshadowed by the top of the table clash. Morley win is a huge statement, I fancy Morley here to step up. Morley -7

Pontefract Vs Malton - battle of the set piece. Ponte at home will be hard for everyone, ponte + 7

Best of luck to all.

I agree Pockroach that Brods v Salem is the pick of the fixtures in this league, this weekend. But far from the top fixture in the North!!!

Moortown Vs Donny Phoenix - Two sides desperate to kick start their season not seen Donny before so just going with gut feeling of favouring home team and backing Moortown to get the Win. Moortown Win

Old Brodleians Vs Bradford Salem - Should be a cracker and something has to give to put one of these sides as early season Favourites alongside Rochdale to be looking for the top spot, get the feeling that Salem will take this. Bradford win

Rochdale Vs Goole - Really hard to see anything other than a comfy win for Rochdale based on early season form. Rochdale win

Scarborough Vs Old Crossleyans - two sides probable looking for mid table safety and probable not much in it so just going with home adv to see Scarborough home. Scarborough win.

Wetherby Vs Morley - Should be a cracking game as always backing my own club to get the result. Wetherby win

Pontefract Vs Malton - Based on having watched our lads play both these sides i would have to favour Ponty combined with them being at home should be a comfortable win for them. Ponty win

Moortown Vs Donny Phoenix - Moortown by a cricket score. I've heard that that the top dog at Moortown has put 18 naan breads and a bottle of port in home changing room. The boys won't disappoint.

Old Brodleians Vs Bradford Salem - the big hill against the big spenders. Will the £eague boys hang around after they've lost a couple?? Who knows but Old Brods will win this one.

Rochdale Vs Goole - Rochdale by 50

Scarborough Vs Old Crossleyans - crocs need to turn the corner soon, could be hard to call.

Wetherby Vs Morley - Draw

Pontefract Vs Malton - pretty regulation win for Ponte but Malton will score a few
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

Moortown v Donny P – Comfortable home win for Moortown.

O Brods v Bradford S – MOTD for me. I’m expecting a very close game but think home advantage may be the difference between the sides. Brods but not by many.

Rochdale v Goole – Can only see a long hard day for Goole Rochdale bonus point win.

Scarborough v O Crocs – Relaxed home win for Scarborough with Scarborough getting their first try bonus point of the season.

Wetherby v Morley – Expecting a close game but just favour a Morley win.

Pontefract v M&N – Hard game to predict Think ground advantage may make the difference in a close game. Pontefract win.

Moortown v Donny P – Comfortable home win for Moortown.

O Brods v Bradford S – Ponte played both these away last two league games and I am plumping for an away victory if the rl club lovers are playing.

Rochdale v Goole – Home win by a lot.

Scarborough v O Crocs – Home win by a few less.

Wetherby v Morley – Wetherby going well and a couple of good experienced props are a good asset in this (or any) league. Good test of where Morley are at, home win just.

Pontefract v M&N – On form should be a home win but never easy against Malton.
