Some of you really have hard ons for the bees. I’d argue there’s less mercenaries there these days than the likes of North Rib

I’m sure the influx of Saffas in Settle (twinned with Pretoria) are just enjoying the sights and sounds in the Highveld of the Dales - atleast an extra 10m on the kicks up there you know

Ha Ha
the Saffa has come to Settle because of our unusual weather which mirrors their climate so HE feels at home. Also he has come to live with his mum for five years which shouldnt be too difficult to understand, even for the most Myopic poster. We consider ourselves lucky to have such a "Walk in".
He also loves the craic at Ribb.

What about the young lad who's just moved over from NZ? Palmerston North to Settle seems like an unorthodox move.

He has come over after being encouraged to do so by his club coach who was with us some ten years ago. Is totally self funded and a qualified "Leccy" but is working as a labourer for a local company. A decent lad who is fitting in very well within the community and loving life in the Dales.

Enjoy Twickers Ossie, hope it's a memorable England win and like Ripon, the harder England practice, the luckier they'll get. I hear trick or treating for Rugrats is a fineable offence and a full turnout at training is expected.

Over 50% voted so far and we seem to be unanimous on outcomes of Hegians v Dinno and Hems v Yawno. On the basis that the latter result is more predictable, this week's bonus 15 points for the exact (or nearest to) score, applies to Roundhegians v Dinnington.

I promise my slide rule and abacus are in full working order to calculate the results.

Mr Large Tummied Propster,
I note your barbed comment with a wry smile. We at Ribb are in a sweet spot at the moment after years of bringing on a group of players of the same age group who are loyal to the club and enjoying their success together, which coupled with good coaching means they want to stay and play together.
Long may it continue.
