Beverley v West Leeds
Bridlington v Hullensians
Harrogate Pythons v Keighley
North Ribblesdale v Wensleydale
Pocklington v Old Rishworthians

Beverley v West Leeds – Bonus point win for Beverley.

Brid v Hulls – Brid need a win but don’t think they will get it. Hulls win.

Harrogate P v Keighley – Keighley to win but not by many.

North Ribb v Wensleydale – Bonus point win for Ribb.

Pock v Old Rish – Bonus point win for Pock.

Wath v Leos – Home advantage to decide Wath win but not by many.

Beavers v Westenders: Big bonus bonanza Bev by +7 points

Brid v 'Ensians: Nothing fishy going on here, 'Ull by a big margin

Pythons v Keefleh: Despite Keighley's lofty status and title aspirations, gate can drag anyone down to size on their pitch. Pythons -7

Sheep Shearers v erm... Sheep Shearers: Battle of the dales in which there could only be one winner - the unstoppable, home grown star-studded Ribb +7

Pock v Used to be Rich: A straight up, no nonsense, five point drubbing here. Pock +7

Woff v Leos: Using the cabbage patch to better advantage, a solid home win. Wath +7

Beverley v West Leeds - West Leeds managing to pull out some crucial wins against the teams around them at the bottom but Beverley will be too strong for them. They're 5 from 6 after losing their opening 4 so will be very confident heading into the 2nd half of the season. Not likely to threaten the top 4 I think but certainly a contender to be best of the rest. Beverley +7

Bridlington v Hullensians - must win for Ensians here to keep in touch with the top 2. I think they'll have far too much for Bridlington though and pull away in the 2nd half for a BP win. Hullensians +7

Harrogate Pythons v Keighley - 2 games last season that were a lot more competitive than the scoreline suggested. Keighley were a lot more clinical than us though so we'll have to convert our chances and tighten up our discipline if we want to finish the 1st half of the season with more wins than losses. Always back yourselves though. Pythons +7

North Ribblesdale v Wensleydale - should be a tasty Dale derby. Wensleydale will hold their own in the pack but Ribb will take them apart in the backline for a comfortable BP win. Ribb +7

Pocklington v Old Rishworthians - Old Rish set to enter the half way point at the bottom of the table, not sure too many would have predicted that following a fairly decent finish to last season. Pock to pile on the misery here with a big win. Pock +7

Wath upon Dearne v Leodiensian - given Wath's home record and Leos struggles so far I think this will be a fairly routine home win. Wath +7

Beverley v West Leeds – Beavers in good form since their poor start, Bev +7.

Bridlington v Hullensians – Ensians to keep the pressure on Keighley for the top 3 spot, Hull +7.

Harrogate Pythons v Keighley – Can see Pythons making it hard for Keighley but wont have enough to stop them getting 5 points, Keighley +7.

North Ribblesdale v Wensleydale – Ribb will have too much in the backline for Dale, BP home win. Will be interesting to see how Ribb fare when the pitches start to get boggy. Ribb +7

Pocklington v Old Rishworthians –  P-town to have a couple more gears than Rich, P-town +7 

Wath upon Dearne v Leodiensian – MOTD for me, Wath will be hard to beat on home turf but if the Leo’s click I think it will be a hard one to call. Going with the home advantage, Wath -7.

Brid v Hulls – Hull to finish off the first half with a win. +7 Hull

Harrogate P v Keighley – Keighley should have enough here.. all though they are a completely different team on grass +7 Keighley

North Ribb v Wensleydale – League winners to win with ease +7

Pock v Old Rish – Carry on the hunt for Ribb with a easy win +7

Wath v Leos – Wath to win this one at home +7 Wath

Looking like 2 halves of the league panning out - Top 5 look a lot stronger than bottom 7.

Top 5 all to win this week.

Maybe slightly premature but they’re odds on at the moment, especially having played Keighley and Pock away already.

4. Bradford Salem

And how did that end up for West Leeds and Keighley? Still a lot of Rugby to be played...
