Why is N1E called N1E and not NE or N(E)?  There isn't a N2E...... ???

i think you could say "North 1 EAST" stating that its the premireship of the Northeast side out of all the teams and leagues equal and below it.

just a point from a westie who has just gone back up to N3 from N1E.

agree with the comments that in N1E there were only 2 or 3 teams who could have competed in N3, each N3 team have a stronger spine to the team and this is where they play off, 2>8>9>10>15.
we did not last time around and found it tough, but last year bounced back.

N1E though is a physical league with the odd team that can also play through the backs

will watch from afar as the M&N guys are banging their chops re their chances.. ;D
