Wakey, wakey!! We're not hibernating , yet!?!
« on: December 14, 2011, 04:58:24 PM »
Ok pop pickers, on the basis that we all seem to have fallen down a very deep and dark hole, thought I'd open a thread, which may stir some life into your cockles.... :-[

If you could pick one single player from any team in our league, to join your team with immediate effect...who would it be and why? Just one player please.

I have only just joined a new team and therefore can only pick on what I've seen so far, without really having any bearing on the position he comes into.....however..... :-[
That player would be knott 8. He is the one man who literally won the game on his own..., however doesn't seem to be doing it that often?  :o  can't quite get my head round that....???

Good idea CW, i had started to think the same.
The Knott 8 had a great game against driffield too, Is he ex morley player? Watching driff, as i dont play, thought Brid 15 was a good larker, making some match winning tackles late on and think he scored 1 or 2 early on. Also i know hes getting on, but as usual Mr Eaves had a good game at Kellythorpe (he always does when playing us, even back in the days when he was at I's), Think an experienced back row would make a massive difference to us...

Yes mate, knott 8 was Morley captain, I know eavesy is good, but would pick Craig over him....

Couldn't agree more. A great player who can turn bad scrum ball into good. As he has done in both games against us.

I think TMO is either:
a) Looking at more player recruitment for Whitby or
b) another lift on th eScarborough coach...

May be we need a poll....
