Fattest Tight Five?
« on: February 03, 2012, 01:09:31 PM »
Having seen the Heath team sheet v Driffield I thought I'd open a thread to discuss whether there is, or has been, a fatter tight five in Yorkshire 1?  Let's hope the game goes ahead to see this magnificent spectacle.

there once once a thread concerning fat backs i seem to recall. i think scarborough were voted fattest backs in the league, and judging by the paunche on this fella - their top "try-magnate"no less, i'd have to say that's a fair assessment...

I seem to recall Scarborough's try magnet was fairly slim in comparison to the inside centre!

Not sure Chris Moore and Mark Puttick would be pleased to be considered "fat". As for the rest bring on them pies.

neverplayedrugby, any player that features in the the front row is a fat lad...perhaps you need to go to specsavers?

As for the reference to the fatty backs, 'Trycliffe' is a very portly chap who has already taken too much advertising space in the scarborough evening news...an article that didn't inform the reader of anything interesting...a very lazy piece of journalism i must say.

however i don't want to detract from the topic of this thread. i hadn't included cw in the tight 5 as he picks himself at 8.  i hear that cw was headhunted by heath as motivational speaker, could anyone expand on said rumour?

looking back over the past years i'd have to say that keighley and salem have turned out fatty 5's.  thoughts?

Wrong again CW was recruited for his taste in Music.

PS think I have, over the years, played far more rugby than you have if you are who I think you are.

Sounds like you are showing some concern for your belly size to have had the 'who is the fattest' conversation with Fatcliffe's partner!;)
