Very strong line up in all pools but the pool of death has to be "A".

Each team plays everyone in their pool, the top 8 sides progress into the Cup and the other 4 in to the Plate.

The two Cup Finalists Qualify for the Yorkshire 7's Finals the following week at Scarborough.

The Running Order for the day is as follows:

10:30am - Team Registration - Clubhouse

02:00pm - Pool Games Finish - Pitch 1 & 2
02:30pm - Cup Quarter Finals - Pitch 1 & 2
03:10pm - Plate Semi Finals - Pitch 1 & 2
03:30pm - Cup Semi Finals - Pitch 1 & 2
03:50pm - Plate Final - Pitch 1
04:10pm - Cup Final - Pitch 1

based on results he certainly is - only a last minute dubious penalty stopped his team winning all the pool games. why not get down to your form?er club mole

Might well call in for a couple of hours on Saturday, if only to witness Vole playing 7's.

No particular reason for not entering a side, however we've never been too active on the 7's circuit. Vole turned out for Thorne along with Wiggy from Hull Ionians by the look of the photo's.

The pitches should be ok (gulp) - new drainage was installed in 2005 when the pitches were relaid.

It's the club house that suffer(ed)s in bad rain although new "flood defence barriers" have been installed during the last week or so.

Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately Team Damage, The War Lords & Keighley have all withdrawn today/last night from the finals, which is too late to call up replacement teams.

Dinnington All Starrs withdrew on Wednesday, however Baildon have replaced them.

This has meant that the Pools have had to be re drawn and are now as follows:

POOL A
Barnsley TMS, Sheffield Oaks, Baildon, Thorne Panthers

POOL B
Dinnington Velociraptors, Hemsworth, Wheatley Hills, Team Amaze Balls, The Pigs

A pitch inspection has taken place at Thorne tonight and they are in good condition.  No rain is forecast overnight, so the finals will be on tomorrow.
