All, again I have received a complaint about comments made about an individual club that are untrue, and could be construed as libelous. Could you please ensure that you don't post comment about clubs or individuals unless you know you are factually correct.
The main topic that I receive complaints about relate to the very emotive subject of paying players, often people accuse teams of paying players without any proof that it is the case, and this can cause serious issues if for example the inland revenue were to take an interest in such claims. Everyone using this forum is a lover of rugby, and will more than likely be associated with a club within our region - is there any need to make the type of comments that is likely to show a club in such a negative light? Everyone has a bit of banter about players and clubs within the region, but please think twice about the affect your comments might have.
'Libel is the written communication (printed words, pictures, or in any form other than by spoken words or gestures) of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative'
