Silverroyd seat warmer:
That really was a dumb act by the Drif lock. Stood head and shoulders over the maul he actually leaned over and lamped the smallest player on the park! The Drif contingent near me actually tried to defend the act, but not as funnily as the lock did. He actually walked away arms out and palms raised asking "who hit me?" hahahaha.
I thought if we hadn't lost the chance of at least 3 overlaps in the game we could have sealed another win but BRB's right, Drif deserved the victory. . .just.

backrowbandit:
It was also another game very well reffed.

PercyR:
Great way to finish a great season for Pock - a derby victory followed by a big night out in York.

Our guys were really up for it, and once again tackled strong. Although our four tries came from the forwards we kept trying to play rugby and move the ball despite the torrential rain. One of the touchdowns came from some excellent offloads and backing up which has been one of our big improvements as the season has progressed.

It was Pock's 18th successive victory (we were in eighth place after eight games) and once again 17 of the 18 players have come through our juniors, five of them still being teenagers. Though we led throughout, York stuck at it, kept pegging us back and threatened down the flanks a few times. Also thanks for all their good wishes afterwards for next season.

Time off:
Had a good day at out at Knottingley Palace!  :P

A good competitive game of rugby with Keighley starting better and being 3 tries up in the first 25 minutes. Knottingley fought back well and never stopped scoring 2 tries in the last 10 minutes.

Defensively second half Keighley very good and disciplined and I believe will do well against Alnwick next week...

Keighley 8 and captain was excellent along with the 13 and 15.
Knottingley 12 (Ash) was excellent - making yards everytime

Thanks guys - and VERY good luck to Keighley next week.  8) ;D

Benjamin Button:
Percy R. Congratulations- I admire the fact you have so many locals.

Will you be able to keep them all. I know from various clubs I have had an involvment in,some of the youngsters go to uni or move away for work.
