HARROGATE player-coach Mike Aspinall will stay at Claro Road next season and has vowed to propel the club back into National Two North after Saturday’s heart-breaking relegation. "I’m ringing around the players telling them about my decision to stay. The lads in the bar after the game were saying they want to stay and get the club back up to National Two next season."

“Harrogate have been a National League team since the league started."

“It’s a big club, for me the first team must be put on a pedestal and made into something the juniors can aspire to."

 “I’ve got a really committed bunch of players at Harrogate. They’ve said they want to stay together next season and get us back to where we belong.”

So, its easy then, just keep the players that earned relegation and bobs your uncle! I wonder if they will be paid the same?

Also, I wonder where they intend playing?

If they keep the leeds players they should go back up, if they lose them then i think they'll struggle and could go down a few leagues.

They have one more season at Claro Rd.

Surely keeping/paying the Leeds contingent along with others is why they're in the mess they are!!!
Get everything they deserve. Be playing yorks5 in two years, telling everyone they've been harshly treated.
