Looks like a Baptism of Fire for the Medics and Hegians!! Away at Salem will be a good test to see if they are up for the challenge of Y2 and the local rivalry resumed for Hegians at Leo's, who no doubt will be fresh from a summer in the David Lloyd centre...

Castleford against Skipton will be a good measure to see just how well they both respond to disappointing seasons last year.

Looking forward to the season already!!!

Does anyone know if this season will start with a round of the Yorkshire Shield, like last year. I much prefer meaningful pre-season matches to, so called freindly matches.

I would imagine so, although last year it was a couple of weeks before the league games which meant we couldn't raise a team.

We will see! Hull finished the season strongly, if Leos can recapture their early season form from last year they could be challengers.

According to reports WPL have lost their influential captain and a couple of other 1st team players from last season, whilst I can't see how Selby are being seen as challengers after an average season last year - have they signed some players that we haven't been told about?

SLL you are more than welcome to come.
We do have 5 teams out on a Saturday, so I am sure that there will be one that matches your standard!!

If you have an Under 13's side I'm sure SLL will fit right in...
