New Law Amendments

What are everyones feelings on the New 5 Law Amendments that the IRB have made for the up and coming season.

Personally i think a few teams could get caught out by a one or two of the new laws.

The 5 second law at the Ruck might cause a few problems, especially early doors in the season. I hope the Refs aren't to strict on it while everyone gets used to it.

It's easy once ball is available refs will shout use it and you get 5 seconds easy.

Spoke to a very good ref who does yorkshire 1 he did our game against sandal today. The rules a good one and as simple as havearest states. The only thing not to do is as a team do a 5 second count down cause your just gonna wind folk up.
I would name the ref if I could cause he was awesome today but I don't know his name unfortunatley.

How did you against Sandal ? What side did you play.

Bit of a mixed bag sandal team wise batman it was a memorial game with lads that had played with johnny so was a mix of 1s 2s and 3s although I think there was only 2 or 3 1s. We lost 28 17 but it was a good close game really. They had a very strong young prop coming back from injury who was first team and will be again this year he stood out and will be one to look out for.
