Just had a scan through the Yorkshire RFU Council Minutes that have been put on the South Yorks website and saw this:

64/12 RFU North Competitions Committee: Report received.
A discussion was held on the circumstances surrounding Doncaster Amateurs application to join the Yorkshire Leagues. There will be no decision to allow Doncaster Amateurs to play in the Leagues until they are constituted. The meeting asked RFU NCC to write to Doncaster Amateurs.

Does this mean the Amateurs are not playing in 5 this year? Can anyone enlighten us?

I read that too, it does suggest that as things stand they will not be in Y5 this year, but who knows?

Are they not leaving this a bit late? I'm sure garforth want to know what's happening since they have them first.

Didn't Doncaster Amateurs also show up in the original Merit Leagues Div1 tables which TMO posted at the end of May??
Does anyone know what is happening?

Has anybody found out anymore on donny amateurs, regarding league status??

They're in, despite what the previously posted minutes say. They play Cambridge 2nd XV as a curtain raiser to the knights pre season friendly tomorrow.
