Roundhegians have certainly improved since there last season in Y2, a well organised team but just missing a key player or two. We were average again and will welcome the week off next Saturday to allow a few players to rest and be ready to go for two massive fixtures against Selby and Medics.

Not a million miles from the truth Sail By,I wouldn't say Roundhegians were poor, they ran Yarnbury pretty close the week before!

Looking forward to a fortnights time at your place - big game!

Bradford Salem    25 - 18    Leodiensian- Neither team will be too disappointed here, good win for BS, and a losing BP at Shay lane is never to be sniffed at
Castleford    7 - 39    Ripon- Ripon continue their charge up the league, and continue the Cas bashing theme.
Doncaster Phoenix    29 - 18    Roundhegians   - good solid win, hegians look like a team that is ready for Y2 this time.
Hullensians    61 - 22    Moortown   - Hull always seem to have a knack for big scores. going to go out on limb here and say they have the best attack in league
West Leeds    42 - 17    Skipton- comfortable win for WL but Skipton are looking down both barrels
West Park Leeds    8 - 14    Sheffield Medicals- all that space, all the hype where are all the points? winning on the road. great for Sheff m
Yarnbury    27 - 14    Selby- Arrgggh, i knew i should have backed Yarnbury. Good for them.  Are Selby still favorites to go up?

Would have to say that on their day Hullensians can build a good score, however we need to make sure our defence is a bit meaner...Yarnbury next week in the cup, will be a test of how much we have improved, however we have picked up a few knock to crucial players.

Had a Feeling Yarnbury would come out on top should have backed them big scores for Hull and West Leeds but Dont think theres any surprise there though.

We were a bit dissapointed but more at our performance.  Bradford played well and are always pretty solid especialy at home but were not half as good as they were at the end of last season when they absolutely spanked us with 50+ points - was that one of those games where everything came together and they would have thrashed anyone that day?

We made too many mistakes (most unforced) making it easy for BS relieve pressure when we had a decent attacks going, we threw an interception pass with an invitation all over it for their first try and didn't have enough about us to stop their forwards score 2 well worked tries.  When you feel you didn't play your best game as a team and lose you do feel dissapointed.

I await a smart comment on how BS think they didn't play well either and still beat us.

Can't say your last comment/sentence does you any favours. It was a hard game not helped by a whistler who seemed somewhat myopic for the first hour.

No, I'm with you greenprawn, only a toilet is happy with a loss. Losing a close game and not playing well will always sting, but for a positive not playing well and still getting something there is alright. How often do teams go there have an off day and get spanked.
