Baildon Vs   Burley - Draw here
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - Old mods to take a hard earned away win
Hemsworth Vs Castleford - Cas
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - nothallerton look strong after a good win
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - rotherham just the better team atm
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - going to back us... we played well at the weekend, we do prefer fixtures on our pitch but i think we can go to thorne and graft out a win

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - Grovians back to winning against Aire
Baildon Vs   Burley - now that we've given everyone else a headstart we can start our league campaign.
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - Mods have shown a good run of form and should be able to pick of Bramely
Hemsworth Vs Castleford - Hemsworth have been good in parts but Castleford will be too consistent to drop points here
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - strong homeboys to win
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - the chat is that Stocks are hard to beat at home.
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - Match of the week. Home advantage will give a crucial opening to Thorne

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - back to winning ways after last week.
Baildon Vs   Burley - feeling confident after our last game.
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - comfortable win for Mods unless the young lads believe all the hype and bottle out.
Hemsworth Vs Castleford - tough game at the cage but fancy Cas here.
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - Northallerton at home will be too strong.
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - going with a shock home win here for no reason at all.
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - backs will be fairly even but the Thorne forwards will dominate the Otley pack......will they be as good off the back foot?

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - Grovians but close

Baildon Vs   Burley - Burley to heap a bit more misery on Baildon

Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - I rate Mods, good side and should have too much for Bramley

Hemsworth Vs Castleford - Cas should win this

Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - North are strong at home

Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - Unsure about this one, going for a draw

Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - Cant really comment, although if our boys play like last week then Thorne will know they are in a game!!

Good luck all.

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - Groves should take this one.
Baildon Vs   Burley - Baildon to pull themselves together at home.
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - Mods to win at a canter.
Hemsworth Vs Castleford - Cas to take it, but not by too much.
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - Home advantage here for the win.
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - Gotta back us here.
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - Thorne to have just enough at home. Should be a hell of a game and wouldn't be surprised to see Otliensians get losing and try bonus point.
If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes should fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians mods too strong and bramley will give them plenty of points
Hemsworth Vs Castleford cas too strong by far
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons confidence is growing, upset on the cards
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix stocks to struggle away from home

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - Groves should take it
Baildon Vs   Burley - backing us after a strong performance last week
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - Bramley looked very ordinary last week, in every aspect of their game except aggression
Hemsworth Vs Castleford - I haven't played Hems before, but Cas should win it
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - North strong at home
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - close game against both of these, Stocks' backs seemed to have the edge though
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - Even though the big pitch will also suit Otley, Thorne should win if they are full strength
get your first tackle in early, even if it’s late.

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians -- Old Grovians easily. Far too much pace and power at 6 and 10.
Baildon Vs   Burley -- Baildon supporters too noisy, the ref won’t put up with it and they’ll be reffed out the game.
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians -- If Mods can handle the back rower and winger should be comfortable win.
Hemsworth Vs Castleford -- Close game, two bullish teams slugging it out, can see Cas edging it.
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons -- Northallerton front row too strong.
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix -- Stocksbridge struggle away, definitely Rotherham on this one.
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians -- Depends if Thorne are mentally in the right place for this game. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt though.

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - I think this will be close but I can't see Grovians backs being as poor this week as last in midfield.  I think they will have far too much in the backs, depends also if back row that was missing last week are playing to give them a lineout.
Baildon Vs   Burley - Baildon - they will pick up their first win here.
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - Mods - grind out another win with one rolling maul or twenty
Hemsworth Vs Castleford yellow cards in abundance and a tight game but Cas to have too much
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - Northallerton.
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - Stocksbridge to grind out a forward battle, provided they don't give too many penalties away for Roth 10 to kick them to death
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - wouldn't mind going to see this, close game, be great to see Dench winger up against Boney.  See how he gets on against a proper winger.  Thorne to controil too much ball in the forwards and expect them to win at home.

Aireborough Vs Old Grovians - Looks like it's going to be a wet one slowing their back down.
Baildon Vs   Burley _ Purely on current form, although our near neighbours could pull off a win.
Bramley Phoenix Vs Old Modernians - Bramley have not started well and could be a tussle.
Hemsworth Vs Castleford - Going to be a tough battle with Cas just coming out on top.
Northallerton Vs Harrogate Pythons - Both in decent early season form but North are strong at home.
Stocksbridge Vs   Rotherham Phoenix - Draw - Battle of the packs with the weather being the winner on the side of the mountain! Can't wait to play there next week!
Thornensians Vs Old Otliensians - Home advantage edging this one. If it were a dry day Thorne's wide pitch would suit 'Ensians backs but Thorne are likely to have the more grunt up front.

Round IV:

Pythons 34 vs 3 Hemsworth (Right)
North 26 vs 25 Grovs (Wrong)

Otliens 48 vs 5 Stocksbridge (Right)
Phoenix 19 vs 17 Aireborough (Right)

Prediction:

-Current league position-; Team; Results either W,D or L; Venue (H or A) in brackets; last seasons' finish in square brackets [ ] followed by this weeks' prediction=

Blue for largest aggregate score

Round V:

–10- Aireborough L(H) L(A) W(H) L(A) [9] vs -1- Old Grovians; W(A) W(H) W(A) L(A) [7]

Two close loses.  High scoring Grovs welcomed by improving Airebrough side.  Grovs to forget last weekends blip.

-13- Baildon; L(H) L(A), L(H) L(A)[n/a] vs -9- Burley; D(H) W(H), L(A) W(H)[10]

Loses all season against mixed fortunes.  Baildon humbled last sat against dominant home-side burley.  Burley lost in last away fixture, Baildon to take note of poor travellers and fight, but to no avail.

-14- Bramley Phoenix; L(H) L (A), L(H) L(A)[11] vs -7- Old Modernians; L(A) W(H) W(A) W(H)[3]

Bottom of the table take on ever more convincing form side.  Mods only loss away to top of the league and a win against newly promoted side.  Bramley much better at home but form side to continue.

–11- Hemsworth; W(A) L(A), L(H) L(A) [13] vs -5- Castleford; W(A) L(H) W(A) W(H)[4]

Contrasting form for both.  One win and three losses on the bounce for Hems including a thrashing at the hands of pythons signals only one thing against title chasing Cass who turned the screw last weekend.

-3- Northallerton; W(A) W(H), L(A) W(H) [8] vs -6- Harrogate Pythons; L(A) W(H) W(A) W(H)[12]

This seasons surprise teams.  Both have shown signs of improvement on last season.  Pythons seemingly less convincing away whereas North have reputation at home on top of getting a result against top side.

-12- Stocksbridge; L(H) L(A) L(H) L(A)[n/a] vs -8- Rotherham Phoenix D(A) L(A) W(H) W(H)[6]

Another level host middle of the table.  Stocks yet to register a win and reeling on the back of a heavy away defeat taking on a Rotherham team who have shown they can play on their day.  Only won at home though.  Tight but Phoenix to show they can hold their own.

-4- Thornensians; W(H) W(A) W(H) L(A)[5] vs -2- Old Otliensians; W(H) W(H) L(A) W(H)[n/a]

Tastiest fixture of the week.  Not much between the two so far this season.  Otliens proving they have the players to compete at this level.  Both lost when away from home.  Home side to win.
