Round V:
–10- Aireborough L(H) L(A) W(H) L(A) [9] vs -1- Old Grovians; W(A) W(H) W(A) L(A) [7]
Two close loses. High scoring Grovs welcomed by improving Airebrough side. Grovs to forget last weekends blip.
-13- Baildon; L(H) L(A), L(H) L(A)[n/a] vs -9- Burley; D(H) W(H), L(A) W(H)[10]
Loses all season against mixed fortunes. Baildon humbled last sat against dominant home-side burley. Burley lost in last away fixture, Baildon to take note of poor travellers and fight, but to no avail.
-14- Bramley Phoenix; L(H) L (A), L(H) L(A)[11] vs -7- Old Modernians; L(A) W(H) W(A) W(H)[3]
Bottom of the table take on ever more convincing form side. Mods only loss away to top of the league and a win against newly promoted side. Bramley much better at home but form side to continue.
–11- Hemsworth; W(A) L(A), L(H) L(A) [13] vs -5- Castleford; W(A) L(H) W(A) W(H)[4]
Contrasting form for both. One win and three losses on the bounce for Hems including a thrashing at the hands of pythons signals only one thing against title chasing Cass who turned the screw last weekend.
-3- Northallerton; W(A) W(H), L(A) W(H) [8] vs -6- Harrogate Pythons; L(A) W(H) W(A) W(H)[12]
This seasons surprise teams. Both have shown signs of improvement on last season. Pythons seemingly less convincing away whereas North have reputation at home on top of getting a result against top side.
-12- Stocksbridge; L(H) L(A) L(H) L(A)[n/a] vs -8- Rotherham Phoenix D(A) L(A) W(H) W(H)[6]
Another level host middle of the table. Stocks yet to register a win and reeling on the back of a heavy away defeat taking on a Rotherham team who have shown they can play on their day. Only won at home though. Tight but Phoenix to show they can hold their own.
-4- Thornensians; W(H) W(A) W(H) L(A)[5] vs -2- Old Otliensians; W(H) W(H) L(A) W(H)[n/a]
Tastiest fixture of the week. Not much between the two so far this season. Otliens proving they have the players to compete at this level. Both lost when away from home. Home side to win.
