What's your favorite rugby song?

And to help keep traditions of rugby going why not every player in Y1 this weekend buy their opposite number a drink after the match?

Also let's see if every match can manage at least one after match song in the bar. If anyone manages that post on Sunday what the song was.

For the time being let's see what everyones favourite song is....... Ive always liked a full bar of Sloop John B..... But I'll post my real favourite if this thread gets going..
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level.

Sunshine Mountain was pretty good in your clubhouse, if I remember correctly.

Paperback writer....well known Boris Johnson lookalike has been screeching that song at the top of his voice for 15 years...honestly it's a sight to behold, one day something's gonna pop and he will drop down dead in mid tortured cat vocal! It will be like when Kennedy was shot and people will know exactly where they were when they heard the news!
That is of course if your remotely interested in said baby polar bears health and well being...x

father abraham. or any other song which gives me an excuse to get my kit off! i especially like scarbs' twist on it! i've also heard their victory song is pretty good too, although i don't think they've been singing it much lately!

Where to start?!

Seeing as they've already been said I'll still give a shout out to Sloop John B and Father Abraham. How about Running Bear?

If we're going into the depths of inappropriateness surely the S & M man has to be a favourite (although not for the faint of heart)

Barnacle Bill was always a good one and I a recital of Danny Boy on tour in Ireland when "pie eyed" was always quite moving.

Wild Rover and American pie always go down well(especially in mixed company)....however for the more gregarious....The Tampax factory,I used to work in Chicago,That was a terrible song, Barnacale  Bill the sailor and 3 German officers crossed the line are my personal favorites

However Sloop Jon B with 2 choirs cross harmonizing is superb and hard to beat!
