Rochdale 27 Dinno 5

6 straight wins then 3 straight defeats - what's that all about?  :(

Your Eminence, I would suggest it's, injuries, retirement from injury, sending offs and not having enough S in D.
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the Stars.

Sheffield 27-22 Old Crosleyans

Not a fair reflection of the game, as Crocs were the better team for long periods of time, in which they had the majority of the possession.
Game started and was interrupted for 45 minutes as Ref pulled up lame 20 mins into the first half.
The fact that we managed to secure a 4try bonus point win pleasantly surprised many as it did IMO not reflect the game.
With a favourable wind, Old Crocs will not be in the relegation zone as they seem to wellorganised and compact with some very good players particularly the returning no.9.

Dinno were worthy opponents, suffering with injuries etc, and as most teams (especially those who do not pay) they are struggling to keep the results going.  They have some good players and worked hard throughout, and never gave up the fight.
We had a good day and at the moment we still have players returning to fitness and are in a stronger position. But we know the effects of injuries and absences. Good luck to Dinno, they need a couple more victories this season to make themselves safe. its difficult moving up a league, but over the season I fancy they will be OK.
