Can confirm the car accidents are mentioned in Ribb's match report which I posted on Pitchero. Also mentioned in Bill Marshalls report in our local rag the Raving Herald & Pioneer.

And resulted in a fatality as I understand it.
So, nice one. I'm sure the victims family appreciate your concern.

Somebody is telling untruths as the guy who started running the touch for Salem, was the same gent that finished the game.

Therefore by definition he must have been there at the start.

If you are going to make weak excuses at least get some of the facts correct????
And please let's not forget the local family who have tragically lost a treasured family member.

Flaggy, i was there early, i know who got there and when. I also know who were still stuck in the traffic 10 mins from the end. You will also have noted our 'proper flaggy' for the day didn't appear until well into the 1st half.

And yes, i've pointed out that it was a tragic accident. Why some would try and make some cheap meaningless point out of it i don't know.

I don't think anyone was. The person who started the thread was quoting a veiled excuse for a loss in a newspaper article to do with traffic delay. I doubt he/she was any more aware of fatalities than the rest of us. So don't come all sanctimonious. There isn't one person on this board who would delight in the death of someone or trivialise it.

No veiled excuse.

Perhaps you missed the opening line /headline of the article.

Bradford Salem defeat was down to individual errors

Simple as.

I was unaware of that. My condolences.

Makes a change from Millsy ranting anyway.

Just to put things into perspective, and none of us were to know, but the victims family suffered a double tragedy the same day. A very sad day indeed for them.
