After reading another post where Ribb flagman described one of the West Leeds players as the best player in his position I would be interested to hear the thoughts from others of who they think are the best players in each position.
I will post my thoughts later as its going to take some thinking about
Hope it makes interesting reading

Without mentioning any of the council house scum from WL so BRB doesn't moan about something or other:

Newitt at York played 13 first time and had a cracker. Moved to wing second time but wasn't as much of a threat out there.
Doubalay at 10 at Beverley controls the game very well.
Fox in the Second Row at York is quality.
Think the overseas Scarborough 8 was very good.

Seem to have lost all memory of others as they all seem to merge into one at times.

West Leeds 9
Brid 10
Heath prop
Brid & Scarborough 8's, I'd have them both in my team.

Lads not mentioned
Salems 6&8
Bev's 9
Always a tough game against Keighley's big 13
Heath scrum is strong!
Brid have a decent second row. I think they are strong across the board so difficult to pick out a outstanding player when they have a team of lads that are good.
early on in the season Brods full back had a great game against us. I think he got injured
It's not just people with triskaidekaphobia that should fear Outside Centres. Everyone should.

best second rows i have played against were Yorks, organised good runners and best lineout in the league IMO. agree with salems 6&8 brods american prop was a good player, that 13/winger that plays for york was class, made sam look silly  :o
Rugby may have many problems, but the gravest is undoubtedly that of the persistence of summer

Cant disagree with many that have already been mentioned
Heath prop was good in the set-piece and 8 were stand out in both games we played against them
Beverley 9 was very good
York 2nd row
Thought both the Scarborough and Keighley 10s controlled games well against us
Sam and Dale at West Leeds - and Keir and good games against Brods
I think Jeno (Brods 8) is up there and Benny (American prop) has had a good season
Scarborough 7 when we played them at home was quality

Agree with a lot of the names discussed already. Scarboro 8 the standout in terms of impact on the game in attack and defence.

York and Brid 9s deserve a mention.

Brid 7 always a menace at the breakdown - can't think of any player who does the same.

Scarboro's rangey winger caused us problems.
