Yorkshire Shield Quarter finals this weekend
« on: November 14, 2017, 11:26:11 AM »
Selby host Scarborough and I'm hoping for a bumper crowd!

Sadly I'm walking in the Lakes so will miss the occasion - which is a shame because I missed last week, i like going to Selby and I like the old tradition of the Shield....

I'm sure Selby will be no pushovers at home and no doubt will do as they usually do and raise their game considerably when the opposition is Scarborough!!!
Loving all rugby but especially at grassroots level. Lucky to be involved in England's number one ranked level 7 league...Yorkshire One.

Rish go to Hullensains in the league. Cup game against them rearrange. We did offer a double header but they declined.

I wouldn't have wanted to give up home advantage in the shield either.

BRB DHL on route with my deep sea diving boots... no thanks necessary!
Shame about the Shield games this weekend, that York are not involved. Because who ever goes on to win it, it will always have a bit of the Audrey Harrison celebration about it!
Olympic gold medalist at the super heavyweight division!! Outstanding until you check and if my memory does not desert me only 4 boxers were entered into that weight division that year!

Rish at home in cup. We suggested we just swap the league game so we go to them when they are meant to come to us in the new year. Just means they have to come to us twice

Two great wins for Beverley in successive weekends.
