Well, the last weekend of the 1st half of the season, and what an "up and downer" it's been for some!!!

Anyway, more on this theme after this weekend, so here are my thoughts:

Bradford & Bingley       v       Brid        Could we sneak an away win---hope so. ( last time we met a couple of years in Y1 we lost by 3!!)
( Should have won---referee awarded a try in the corner---their linesman remonstrated, and
persuaded him to change his mind!!!!!)
Hudd YM                     v       Northern    Should be a home win, which will really put Northern in the relegation line up!
Malton & Norton          v       Dinnington  Hope Malton will come back to form and have a good home win.
Morpeth                      v      Cleck         Morpeth should be too strong for Cleck at home.
Penrith                       v      Driffield      TASTY fixture, I wouldn't rule out an away win as I wasn't very impressed with Penrith last week.
( seemed very one dimensional---too many speculative kicks downfield)
Percy Park                   v      Alnwick     Not really a long travel for Alnwick, so I expect them to win----just!
West Hartlepool          v      West Leeds  Now in theory WL should win, BUT with West H at home who knows!!

BUT-----LOOK AT THE MET. OFFICE FORECAST----COULD BE ALOT OF GAMES OFF DUE TO FROZEN PITCHES!!!!

Bees v Brid - Close win for Brid
YM v Northern - Easy win for the home side
M&N v Dinnington - could actually be a draw but M&N to use home advantage despite being without a couple of key players
Morpeth v Cleck - Home skipper to talk his way to another win
Penrith v Driff - agreed great game in prospect and just have a fancy that fast improving Driff will sneak it
PP v Alnwick - local derby and close but cant see Alnwick losing
West v Wests - WH still seem to be missing lots of players although I hear WL skipper suspended from last week. Still fancy the new boys.

Bees v Brid - Bees have a lot of aggression but not much else, think they had a lot of players missing against us, but had a man advantage for nearly an hour so cant see them getting past Brid
YM v Northern - Home advantage to count for this one
M&N v Dinnington - M&N should win this based on home form, Dinno to run them close though - both squads are massively inconsistent
Morpeth v Cleck - League leaders with home advantage, by at least by 20
Penrith v Driff - Driff better rugby team, but its a long long way for them, that does have a huge effect on things - if Driff play their best team they win
PP v Alnwick - Wheels have come off at PP only one winner
West v Wests - Not worried about Sam's suspension, we are all relieved, he's only in squad because his dad is Head Coach, nepotism at its worst!
Rugby may have many problems, but the gravest is undoubtedly that of the persistence of summer
