Sandal 37 Sheffield Engineers 34

A yo-yo of a game, we scored first and then Sheff hit back with 4 tries I think. We went in at half time 12 points down. Got ourselves back into the game and level 34-34.

With 5 minutes remaining we slotted a penalty over and just about closed the game out.

An enjoyable game and always good to beat a good attacking side.

Any other games today?

Pontefract beat Sheff Tigers to end their unbeaten run and maintain Pontes 100% home record 27-17.

Really good game it was too.

We saw that result - that’s great win. They will cartiably finish top of the league and can’t see them loosing many/any more games

Thoroughly good game the Sandal 2s vs Sheff Engineers! Good running rugby played by both team, enjoyed playing it. Enjoyed winning it in the last 5 minutes too!
