Guess not many people agree as RL are playing in a stadium a third full and RU played in front of 82000 and could have sold it out 3 times over.....

RL dead in 10 years.

Style and occaison over substance and skill? Have to say RL today far better to watch than the tosh at twickenham,  but wouldn't want my kids playing. How many hits would have been penalised.on an ru pitch? Unless your name is Barrel....

BRB I wouldn't have had you down as been narrow minded. Little mix sell out stadiums, where prince performed in front of 200 before he died!!! Core skills on show today by far out shown the lancashire yesterday. Take out of 82000 the corporate %, take out the old fart % and take out the alway got club tickets, always had the club tickets % of many left? Hence the reluctance to take internationals on the road, normal fans after that yesterday wouldn't pay to watch a second time.

Can we not just admit for all the good things in our sport, other sports do things better, pass, tackle, kick????

Ps can anyone explain their cutting edge new game plan yesterday, couldn't quite pick it up. Thanks in advance.

Out of interest why don't you play RL?

Boring game with about 4 rules (the amount the simpletons nthat play it can manage).

If it's so wonderful and entertaining why is it on its knees? Less and less people playing every year at every level, all RL top clubs practically insolvent, crowds dropping every year and every attempt to widen appeal fails??

Just asking...

Unlike the Rugby Union Premiership which is over £200 mill in debt, whilst the Australian RU is literally on it's knees - no sponsors,no fans,no tv deal.More people watching the Australian womens rl team than the Wallabies - that really is a disaster. You really do have a chip on your shoulder dont you BRB.

Just 23 Yorks Merit fixtures due to be played yesterday,of which 12 were postoned/cancelled.So,11 games played in Yorks below first XV level.

Don't care about Australia.

You obviously don't know the difference between loss making and insolvent.

Nearly all Premiership RU and nearly all Premier League and Championship football teams lose money hand over fist every year. However there are people queuing up to cover these loses .... Whereas RL don't have many people who want to cover their loses. Hence Bradford Bulls going bust and if what a Super League owner told me a couple of weeks ago is true, another couple of clubs will follow soon.

RU has mass appeal, regardless of what a few of you think and RL doesn't...that's because it's boring after the first 10 mins and no one wants their kids to play it.

I really enjoyed the England v RSA match yesterday, not least because my misses is from Bloemfontein!

You really are easy,it's Old Farts like you who keep the game going.

How's Scarborough town centre - still as filthy and dirty as ever, with half the shops closed and one of the lowest Zone A figues in the country.

You really are deluded BRB,no SL owner would waste his breath on someone like you.

Chaps, let's not get personal I was just saying as a spetical the RL was so much better as the skill was so much higher. I have always played rugby union because Dinnington comp only played that, played a bit of summer RL and to be honest at grass routes Keighley Albion RL 2nds got larger crowds and fuller family engagement the than most Y1 sides could ever imagine. I love our sport and would rather watch low level rugby union than rugby league. However 80 minutes of super league vs premiership, no contest RL is far more engaging. Don't get me wrong rugby union at the top levels when skill played a part, Horan, Campese, Cullan, Guscott were about that was different, centres would even know how to through a dummy. I wonder if the new RFU game plan filters down to the RFU coaching levels below, I hope so it will make beating their teams so much easier.

There’s a lot of good in the junior game of RL and because of this the game will keep going. I have seen juniors coached at league and union and the core skills from league players aged 11-16 far outshine those of their union counterparts. Yes it has issues and one of them is that the sport can not demonstrate enough good quality games on TV. There’s too many dead rubbers that are on TV and this is because the amount of quality is lacking.

The England backline yesterfay should have been allowed to cut free and have a real go from the off. However test match rugby is about winning so they got the job done.

Personally I don't think a comparison of the 2 England games yesterday is completely fair. England RU were looking for a win off the back of a bad run and would have taken any win were as England RL are on a good run of form with high confidence levels and we all know how much easier a game can be with high confidence and a winning mentality.

It is no wonder RL is dying, when RFU clubs pay the RL players to come and play our game.

Played both watched both personally always preferred to play union and watch league. Both great sports which have a lot to learn from each other and both will always be paupers in this country against football but long live both games.

Knew you'd find something to moan about.

Judging by your prediction you'd struggle to run one too.

My predictions were way out similar to my weekly ones, boring going with the flow. Please don't tell me you agree with the decision? I didn't even mention taking youngs off and bringing speed bump on. Injured thumb strap it up, would suggest the clipboard / laptop via pro zone would have instigated it.? Shields doing nothing Lawes comes on then he goes off again?

I have a shower at home so running a bath is not a problem I neither have a problem being intuitive on a sideline.

Judging by your posts. About 6 or 7. Too young really to be on an adult public forum. If I am wrong about your age maybe you can grow up.

I think he got the wrong end of the stick - he might have been referring to IQ rather than age...

Then you'd have to question his iq

I specifically asked 'age' hard to get the wrong end of that stick Nazir
