Very hard week to pick! A lot will be very close.
Good luck too all. I’ll be working but can’t see the mighty Grottingley slipping up. Although Sheff Meds were the only team last year to do the double over us! So we won’t be underestimating them. Maybe even have a spelling test afterwards against our brightest player.

Aireborough v Hemsworth - A real chance for Aire to get a win on the board here but I am going to punt for Hems
Baildon v Old Otliensians - Tough game and from memory the pitch is not conducive to open rugby. We need to win it to stay in touch of Knottingley and Leeds.
Castleford v Ossett - Going for Cas at home in a close game.
Halifax Vandals v Leeds Corinthians - Got to go for Leeds as they have good momentum but I would not be surprised if Vandals won.
Knottingley v Sheffield Medicals - JOKER. Students not strong enough for Knottingley.
Rotherham Phoenix v Skipton - Close home win.
Wibsey v Harrogate Pythons - Pythons to grab a close away win.

Aireborough v Hemsworth - Want to say Aire will grab a win but I can see Hemsworth taking the spoils as the bog warms up for winter. Baildon v Old OtliensiansJ - Think Ensians will put out the dying embers of Baildon's promising start, should be a good one though. Castleford v Ossett - Hard to call but if Cas turn up at home think they'll take it, could easily see an Ossett win though, upsetting some teams this year! Halifax Vandals v Leeds Corinthians - Another hard one especially on mount doom but think Leeds are the real deal this year and will keep their unbeaten record. Knottingley v Sheffield Medicals - Back down to watch this week, hoping its an attacking game against the students to keep me entertained, they always give us a good contest and won't be taking them lightly. Rotherham Phoenix v Skipton - Anyone's guess here both hit and miss. Wibsey v Harrogate Pythons - Should be a good match this will tip Harrogate to take the points but only just.
As my good friend Mr G says some close match ups this week anyone could get a win!

Hemsworth; may have beat an understrength Baildon but a win is a win. Baildon v OO; no prediction but suspect that the match will be decided by the boot & who plays the pitch best. Even with Ensians backs, think this could be dour! Ca$; Ca$ should be a different proposition at home. Heavy pitch will also play to their packs advantage Leeds; corinthians to sneak it Knottingley; probably too much up front for the kids & with all this rain it will nullify the students pace. However this is the sort of game that, if undercooked & over confident, the worms could unwittingly chuck! Rotherham; weather the 16th man for Phoenix at home. JOKER

Apologies for my absence, it’s nice to see the knotts locomotive still in full force and Yorkshire 3 being as competitive as it’s ever been. There’s just one question on the tip of my tongue though, have showergate owned up to the criminal damage of the shower? Or are they still being cowards and bad losers? Also ca$ still seem to be struggling has the money dried up?

Aireborough to finally get a win on the swamp. Baildon v Old Otliensians - too close to call so no prediction. Cash to bully a win Leeds Corinthians to continue their great start to the season. Y3 Champions to put a big score on the kids Rotherham Phoenix a long trek for Skips Harrogate Pythons to beat Wibsey who are likely to have about 5 players banned by now

That’s the first I’ve heard of this Gums. I’d been told by several people that Ca$ had a problem with several first team players leaving but I took it as hear say as you always hear rumours in preseason!

Castleford v Ossett - Close game. Ossett proving to be more than good enough for this league, but im expecting Cas's season to get going anytime soon
Halifax Vandals v Leeds Corinthians - Leeds to over power the Vandals
Knottingley v Sheffield Medicals - JOKER. Knottingley by 50
Rotherham Phoenix v Skipton - Long trip from Skipton. so they will be missing a few. Phoenix to get back on track.
Wibsey v Harrogate Pythons - Not sure Harrogate will enjoy the visit. Fancy Wibsey but will abstain on this one
