Quality display from Grovians on Saturday. And Halifax were insipid at best.
OGs won all the 50/50 ball, it seemed they just wanted it more. A couple of early tries made it an uphill struggle for fax but when we pulled one back I felt confident. Even going into the break trailing by 24-7 (I think) most of the team felt we weren't out of reach, but credit to OGs they switched it on 2nd half and stormed away.
Their big dark haired centre played well. And the blond winger is rapid (think he scored 4 in the end).
Lots of work to be done at Fax. I for one will be training hard this week and aiming to bounce back next weekend. No one likes to be on the end of a hiding but it's how you react to it and come back that really matters.
Well done to OGs.
Cheers
