Really not surprised about Stocks. Goole's pack is the weakest in the league for me. When Stocks are at home they know how to keep ball in forwards and drive up that narrow pitch. Can imagine Goole didn't get much ball and didn't have the room to counter attack?

Fair observation by Gate prop. Ref was very whistle happy. Better for Gate in first half but obviously in our favour in second. What I was shocked with is that he made a decision with a minute to go to final whistle to award us a lineout on our five meter line. Then at protestations by a number of Gate players he actually CHANGED HIS MIND. Never ever seen a ref do that. The game was well fought by both teams but I think we controlled it better and were a little more clinical than we have been in the past. Disappointed that Gate no 16 left the field at the end of the game without going through the tunnel and shaking oppositions hands. More disappointed as I have absolutely no idea why he did that?? Can someone from Gate let us know? I like to know when and why we have offended someone so I can do it again...

Think he was just pissed off with the ref and the result, didn't realise he'd not shaken hands I was too busy asking the ref why he'd not let me have my 22 drop out when your lot weren't looking.

With regards to the ref decision, he realised very quickly he'd given the wrong call and changed it. He'd actually given a scrum because we knocked the ball dead but when our player touched it and he was over the line, the ball was still moving, ergo the ref changed his mind.

Reckon the weather will provide us a lot of close games.
Aireborough v Leeds Medics - expecting the conditions to favour Aireborough and their pack at home
Bramley v North - going with home advantage
Goole v Halifax - Goole too strong at home
Pythons v Stocks - backing us to return to winning ways at home
Leeds Mods v Otliensians - don't think this weather favours Otliensians
Thorne v Rotherham - could be a big home win
Wetherby v Baildon - another big home win

Hard fought game at Baildon. We had some grumbles about the three sin bins to zero despite the very high penalty count against both. At the end of the day though Baildon played the conditions better and took their chances, our errors and discipline cost us the chance of a win. Looking forward to a first home game in 6 weeks against Stocks.

Looking at this it's now Guna take something special to beat wetherby they've won at both Thorne and goole x

If you put Thorne pack with Goole backs then maybe. Having played all 3 in consecutive weeks Wetherby are a cut above. Apart from their line out they are just better than everyone else. It'll be a hard task to manage back to back unbeaten seasons but as it stands I just can't see anyone beating them.

Aireborough v Halifax - close one this. Decent match up in the pack but thing the Fax backs will edge it.
Bramley v Stocksbridge - Bramley at home difficult to beat.
Goole v Baildon - comfortable home win.
Pythons v Rotherham - after playing the top 3 in consecutive weeks I'll back us to get the win at home.
Leeds Mods v Northallerton - depends what kind of team North travel with. Could trouble Mods with a full strength 1-10 but think Mods will edge it.
Otliensians v Leeds Medics - if the weather is dry this could be a great match to watch. Backing OO's at home in a high scoring affair.
Thorne v Wetherby - having played these 2 recently I can't see past a Wetherby win. Haven't seen anyone who will beat Wetherby yet.

Wetherby are a very good team! Good set of lads as well so all the best to them. Thought we played fairly well particularly in the 2nd half keeping it to 14-7 playing 20 minutes with 14 men.

Wetherby   v Harrogate Pythons - Got to back yourselves. Harrogate to win 2-1 overall

Really hard fought game at Thorne today. We were gutted to lose out on the losing bonus point with the last play but a good performance overall and a massive improvement on last season.

Baildon v Mods - depends on how well Mods travel but going home advantage in a close game

Halifax v Leeds Medics - Fax with a good kicking game and strong pack to keep the ball away from Medics backline

Pythons v Goole - backing us at home. Plenty of players playing for a place this week. 58 available so fielding 3 teams.

North v Thornensians - Thorne high on confidence to edge a tight game.

Rotherham v Aireborough - I just don't see where the wins are going to come for Roth this season.

Stocksbridge v Otliensians - bad forecast for Saturday so going for Stocks

Wetherby v Bramley - Wetherby too strong at home

Good game at Bramley today. Very even game until the last 10 minutes, could have gone either way before that.

Aireborough v Wetherby - should be a big win for Wetherby.
Bramley v Pythons - important game for us with the top 3 in consecutive weeks after this. Backing us to make it 4 in a row.
Leeds Medics v Stocksbridge - Medics to have too much for Stocks.
Leeds Mods v Rotherham - big home win.
Northallerton v Halifax - Fax looking to bounce back but North too strong at home.
Otliensians v Baildon - home advantage.
Thornensians v Goole - should be a cracker, going to go with home advantage.

Another tough result for us - moments of great rugby but we couldn't get consistency. Great open game of rugby though with Medics deserving the win. Aireborough look like they're improving with some close defeats recently and a great result for Stocksbridge at home. Interested for Mods view on Wetherby?

Aireborough played a very effective game based on excellent tactical kicking from their 10 and good spoiling tactics at the ruck. Should get beat again next week against wetherby but then 3 winnable games for them after that.
