Despite a hiccup at Cas and barring any slip ups over the next few weeks,it looks like Corinthians will be making the move up to Y2 next season. No disrespect intended to Knottla or Baildon, but you’ve tried it before and it didn’t work out too well and who knows what the future of “consultations” on league restructuring will bring; but who else might be going up?

That aside, it does look like WPL and Barnsley will be going down and just wondering whether any Y3 sides were feeling a bit agoraphobic at the prospect of playing in their vast stadia?

Generally the teams who have come down have not gone straight back up so I don’t think anyone will be quaking in their boots at anyone who comes down. In terms of who has gone up and stayed up you look at North, Goole, Dale, Grovians and Wetherby. I would expect anyone who makes the step up to Y2 this season to win the majority of their home games, be very organised and aggressive in D. At the moment you’d argue Corinthians, Baildon and Knottingley are the favourites and they’d all be a tough proposition for every Y2 side.

Cheers Brian, seems like you missed the point completely, but I guess that’s the problem with Banter. TBH could do with Knottla being promoted to stimulate more intellectual conversations in Y2. Not to mention Wensleydale, who are on a roll - promotion two seasons on the trot?

Just a gentle reminder that little old Knottingley were in Yorkshire 1 for a few seasons and held their own.

No nibbles here Pomfresian 😂😂 not sure if I'm talking to a Ponte man or a Cas man but that just about sums it up anyway.
