Has anyone watch the shambolic presenting on CH4 by Ortis Deley? They did very well getting Michael Johnson who we are used to seeing with the likes of Sue Barker, Colin Jackson, Denise Lewis etc on BBC, but I bet he can't believe the level of his 'co-presenter' I occasionally watch The Gadget Show and he's very likeable on there...but oh dear. This morning he talked about the 1600m race (?) and also about Oscar Pitorius in the 400m hurdles??? There have been so many more mistakes like this over the last couple of days...it's embarrassing to watch.

I'd like to bet none were as big or widely publicised as Usain Bolt's howler though. Ooops.

The coverage has been appaulling, commentary mistakes, awful camerawork, not being able to see all runners before the race starts etc, etc. Today they have cut of a good pole vault final with only one vault to go to make way for a repeat of 'Three in a bed'!!!!

Looks like Ch 4 also decided that Ortis made too many gaffes. Paper today says he has been axed and also described their coverage as 'beyond embarrassment' notice that there is no coverage today at all!!!

It has been a shambles - I bet the BBC bosses are laughing in their kaftans. No events today other than the womens 20k walk - lets see how bad they are over the next few days as there's a full schedule :o

I watched the Youtube clips, I haven't seen anything as bad since Sam Fox and Mick Fleetwood present the Brits - and that was in 1989!
