Personally, although I doubted he could achieve much, I thought Flaggy was the best option to try to generate change. I hope Mr. Francis does well and represents the interests of the Yorkshire clubs rather than the status quo. Not sure that being "quiet and polite" will accomplish much.

Further to the election of RFU Representative, Yorkshire RFU would like to congratulate Dave Francis on his appointment to the RFU Council working alongside Toni Birch.
Dave will take up the position on the 1st August 2025, Yorkshire Day.
Dave has stated he is looking forward to taking on the role in representing the County at the top table, and promises to be the 'quiet and polite gent' that everyone knows! He also thanks Joe Bedford for his fantastic work in the role previously, and wishes him well in his new ventures.
Many thanks to all clubs who voted, and all the candidates who stood for election.
