Any punters fancy a 10 point bonus prediction gamble on nominating one team to go unbeaten in league games for the whole season?

Points applied at the end of the league campaign and draws count as unbeaten in this context. Could be a wild card for those less fortunate week on week? The 50 points will be applied to all punters with predictions in at 31st October 2025 after 5 league weeks.

Incorrect predictions at the end of the season will be deducted 10 points.

Game on?

Halifax v Bridlington - Heart says fax as a great set of lads, but head says Brid - +7 Brid

Northallerton v Bradford & Bing - going for it North +7 and bees don't like to travel

Old Otliensians v Bramley Phoenix - if bramley couldn't beat a depleted hegians they have no chance here.
OO's +7

Ossett v Huddersfield Laund Hill - a local Derby, always feisty, however a big injury loss for HLH after week 1, are ossett due some players back?? A hard one to predict this however HLH +7 (17-26)

Ripon v Roundhegians Ripon - new stand week, I think they'll raise their game at home Rip +7

Halifax Vandals v Baildon - Baildon +7

Ouzos v Bad Apples: biggest fly away win of the week. OOs +7

Bossit v Laundromat: Tough place to get any points in the cauldron of Queen's terrace: Ossett -7

Rugrats v Snoozers: Rugrats won't get caught napping again, especially in front of a bumper crowd. Ripon +7 (29 - 13)

Hooligans v Ca$h Cow$: Mount Doom no real advantage against a "going for it" Bai£don. Baildon +7

Halifax v Bridlington - how will Brid do in the slums of Fax, they will do everything to get under Brids skin, if Brid hold their grit and play their game, it'll be a nice 5 pointer on the road for them Brid +7

Northallerton v Bradford & Bingley - Great start for Bee's from the photo's I saw, they look a big pack more than capable of taking on the farmers, I feel Bee's will take it Bee's +7

Old Otliensians v Bramley Phoenix - Hard first game for OO up at fax, really showed some grit. OO +7

Ossett v Huddersfield Laund Hill - Hudds will be a team to beat this year, not a great start for Ossett. Hudds +7

Ripon v Roundhegians - Roundhegians with a confident start, will be happy with their opener. I had backed Ripon to be up there this year and Bee's struggling, how wrong I was! Ripon are tough at home though. Yet, I can see an away win Roundhegians -7

Halifax Vandals v Baildon - Good start for Baildon, Similar pitch to theirs up at fax. I can see Baildon scraping a win here Baildon -7      **19-21**

Good Luck all!

Halifax v Bridlington Brid +7 , the first of many long trips for Brid , still should have enough
Northallerton v Bradford & Bingley 0 B&B +7 great result last week , as such cant see past a +7 victory
Old Otliensians v Bramley Phoenix  OO's+7 Hard to call, go for OO simply as they are at home
Ossett v Huddersfield Laund Hill Ossett -7 , can we combat the huge HLH pack? will be a good game , but an Ossett win 19-13
Ripon v Roundhegians Ripon +7 , surely at home Ripon will reverse last weeks result
Halifax Vandals v Baildon Baildon -7 , Baildon might just have enough to take the spoils

Good luck to all , hope you all have a great day watching your team

Halifax vs Brid - Long day out, no problem - Brid +7

Northallerton vs B&B - Old Farmers to put up a fight but to run out of steam after about 10 mins - B&B +7

OO's vs Bramley - Set up nicely by an away win at Vandals, fancy OOs to keep their good start to Y2 life going - OO's +7

Osset vs HLH - Week 2 of the season and HLHs pockets already running dry with their national league signings disappearing. Back to usual precedings at QT, not much rugby played, plenty of moaning from the Wakey Wind Ups, but Ossett to put their baps where their mouth is - Ossett +7 (27-10)

Ripon vs Roundhegians - Rugrats to put on a show in front of the new stand, mainly in a bid to get a playground installed for after-match playtime - Ripon +7

Vandals vs Baildon - Vandals to put up a fight at home, but Baildon will use the pitch as well as they do at home - Baildon +7

Bramley huffed and puffed but enjoyed throwing the ball into touch more than capitalising on overlaps, which saw Ensians run out 26-5 winners after taking their chances well

Ossett v HLH

Again a game of 2 halves!

The HLH scrum sent the ossett pack back on every scrum, ossett tried different combinations in the front row with very little luck

In the first half with HLH playing down the hill I believe ossett entered HLH half of the pitch just once HLH ran into a 21-0 lead leading into the break.

In the second half the pattern changed, ossett managed to use their wrecking ball centres causing HLH issues, again injuries hit HLH having a centre combo with 2 x forwards playing there for the last 20 minutes.

The HLH 10 gifted ossett territory and had a bit of a mare throughout the day.

The game went down to the wire with ossett searching for a winning try, however the HLH pack stood firm and saw the game out making it 2/2 and 10 points

Lucky for HLH it's a cup game next week however hopefully our "national league players" will be back for the vandals game aswell as a few more recruits who's rugby league season is coming to and end!!

Best start the club has had in many year, if this game was played last year HLH would have crumbled it seems they have found a bit of grit and how to see out games

Ripon went into this week with six recalls to the squad and a renewed commitment to start winning and gather a bonus point or two. Sadly Hegians put the mockers on that and with a spirited final quarter display of energy, nearly nicked the match. Ripon's set piece was much firmer and provided a solid platform to unleash erm...

With two tries from their powerful Left Wing and a simply executed line out drive, Ripon were unlucky from the kicking tee and some extra points went begging. Credit to Hegians - they were never going to let this game run away from them and for Ripon, another lesson in execution and sticking to the game plan. Hegians were restricted to a solitary penalty goal at half time and the converted second half try made their score more respectable and a losing bonus point is never to be sniffed at.

Brilliant to see a good crowd turn out to witness the opening the stand and even more brilliant to host 3 matches at Mallorie Park. Special thanks to Yarnbury for bringing a 2nd and 3rd XV to join in the celebrations. Whilst the 1st XV result didn't go quite as planned, the three wins at home were a mighty boost to club morale and bar takings!
