Predictions:

Bradford Salem vs Old Brodleians - Salem eventually back with their powerhouses? Brodleians -7.

Moortown vs Doncaster Phoenix - Moortown +7. Must win for both teams.

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough - Scarborough +7. Routine win for Bernard Montgomery Foden.

Malton and Norton vs Pontefract - Malton +7 - should have too much quality going off results.

Pocklington vs Selby - Pocklington +7 - force to be reckoned with.

SS Morley vs Wetherby - best game this week. Wetherby -7.

Bradford Salem vs Old Brodleians – I was very impressed with Brods on Saturday, if they can convert in the red zone I fancy them to take a BP here. Brods +7

Moortown vs Doncaster Phoenix – Home advantage to make the difference. Town +7

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough – Another 5 pointer on the cards? Scarborough +7

Malton and Norton vs Pontefract – Have a feeling this could be a close game with the home side taking the majority of the points. M&N -7

Pocklington vs Selby – Form always goes out the window on derby days but I'm backing pock to get the job done at Percy road. Pock +7

Morley vs Wetherby – MOTW! Will be a great game to watch as a neutral. Wetherby to inflict more damage on ze Germans. Wetherby -7

Bradford Salem vs Old Brodleians - If true, then the Antipodean army are back at Salem for this weekend. Whilst they are undoubtedly brilliant assets, if Brods can maintain possession and play their forwards game then I still think they have too much for Salem. Brods win.

Moortown vs Doncaster Phoenix - Doncaster seemingly relegation favourites after getting a reprieve last season and I don't think they will get a win here in a hostile environment. Moortown win.

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough - Scarborough are still my favourites for the league title and can't see anything other than a comfortable win with Crocs still looking to register their first.

Malton and Norton vs Pontefract - Probably two evenly matched sides and I expect a competitive game. However, home advantage should see M&N home.

Pocklington vs Selby - Pock still remain unbeaten after the first four games whilst Selby have a mixed bag of results, beating a couple of teams in the lower echelons. I suspect Pocks big pack will steer them home fairly comfortably.

Morley vs Wetherby - Morley will be eager to bounce back after last weeks poor performance, however, Wetherby are certainly not the easiest opponents on the back of a tough week. I favour Morley to just sneak home in this one on their own park but only a couple of points in it.

Bradford Salem vs Brods - Brods by a few.

Moortown vs Doncaster - Both teams need to get their seasons going. Moortown at home always tough. Home win.

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough - My shock of the week and you heard it here first. Crocs will beat Scarborough.

Malton and Norton vs Pontefract - This will be close, but Ponte backs will be too much for M&N.

Pocklington vs Selby - Pocklington to win this one, too much power.

Morley vs Wetherby - Good test for both teams to see where they are truly at. I feel that Wetherby have the edge in a close one.

Old Crocs V Scarbs = Easy Scarbs win as it sounds like they get all the decision their way from the officials.

Bradford V Brods = Can see Bradford finally clicking this week and Brods away from home to struggle. Bradford easy win.

Pock vs Selby = Pock to just win with their pack as it appears they don't have a backline this seaoson and can only play forwards rugby but should be enough.

Morley vs Wetherby = tough call... have an inkling Morley will hit form and just get this one over the line with home advantage.

M&N vs Ponte = Solid home win for Malton.

Moortown vs Donny = Close match for the most part and then Moortown to pull away and finish it off in the last 20.

Bradford Salem vs Old Brodleians – Do Salem have their overseas back this week? If so Salem will be tough at home. Salem +7

Moortown vs Doncaster Phoenix – Tough start to the season for both teams, Moortown to kick on with a win. Town +7

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough – Another 5 point Win for Scabs as front runners for the league. Scabs +7

Malton and Norton vs Pontefract – Home advantage takes this one but it will be a tough game for both. M&N +7

Pocklington vs Selby – Pock off to a flying start and Selby not so much, Another Pock win at home this week to stay unbeaten. Pock +7

Morley vs Wetherby – Wetherby will be too strong for Morley and will continue their unbeaten run also. Wetherby +7

Bradford Salem vs Old Brodleians – Short trip for brods almost a local derby so form likely to go out of the window toss of a coin to me this one but going for brods to get the win.

Moortown vs Doncaster Phoenix – Anouther tough game to call but think the home crowd will be enough to get Moortown over the finish line and a valuable 5 points to help kick start their season.

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough – On early season form hard to see anything other than a Scarbs win.

Malton and Norton vs Pontefract – Should be a cracker and anouther tough one to call so favouring M&N just purely on home adv.

Pocklington vs Selby – Pock had teh much better start to the season but just have the feeling that Selby might get the result here. Selby to win in a close one.

Morley vs Wetherby – As always back our own lads Wetherby for the win.

The winless Moortown the only team who seem to be the dead cert is an interesting set of predictions with unanimous votes so far

$alem vs Old Brods - Old Brods to be the more clinical even with the apparent return of Salems money men. Brods -7

Moortown vs Donny Phoenix - Both teams need to win- Town to be the stronger more rounded outfit and to go on and kickstart their season - Town +7

Old Crossleyans vs Scarborough - Scarborough to carry on their excellent form although expect crocs to get something out of it - Scarborough -7

Malton and Norton vs Ponte - M&N to beat the Ponte Orcs up front and with the home advantage likely see them across the line - M&N -7

Pock vs Selby - Routine win for Pock - Selby yet to show up against a top half team and i think they could struggle as the season goes on. Pock +7

Morley vs Wetherby - Match of the week - I think Wetherby will have too much against a Morley side who have been a bit up and down at the start of the season. Wetherby +7

Bradford Salem v Brods
Having looked at $alem's team sheet, there is a notable debutant in another ex NRL centre, he could be the answer to their early season struggles. Brods will be looking to bounce back from a home defeat, I think they have enough to do it. Brods by 5

Moortown v Doncaster Phoenix
Very early in the season to be talking about "must wins", but this basement battle is a key one for both teams. Tough to call, but I think Town will do the business at home. Town by 8

Morley v Wetherby
What on earth happened to Morley last weekend, completely flattened by Foden's men. They have to bounce back quickly against a strong Wetherby side, but I think Weth will pick up an impressive away win here. The Whaler's by 10

Old Crossleyans v Scarborough
Crocs are good at home, but all I can see here is an in form Scarbs side being too much for them. Scarbs by 15, but I wouldn't be surprised if Crocs are in the fight for 60/70 minutes.

Malton & Norton v Pontefract
Two sides which I expected stronger starts from. Can't see Ponte getting much from this, Malton by 12

Pocklington v Selby
A great win last week for Pock away at Brods. Their form from last season has continued into this league. Last years Y1 side takes on last years NE1 side. I'm backing Pock at home here and will be high scoring for both sides (weather permitting). Pock by 10

Brad Salem v Old Brods – Expecting a much closer game than the league positions would suggest. Salem to kick start their season with a win.

Moortown v Donny P – Moortown to win but only because of home advantage.

Morley v Wetherby – MOTD for me, which could go either way. Morley have aspirations to return to the higher levels of Yorkshire rugby Morley to win  a very close game.

O Crocs v Scarborough – Scarborough bonus point win.

M&N v Ponte – Home advantage just making the difference M&N win but with Ponte getting a bonus point.

Pocklington v Selby - Pock bonus point win.

Another win by Scarborough. Tough place to go and bring the points back. Wasn't there but it sounds like Scarborough didn't perform to expectations. If so good to win if not playing at your best. Interested to see what the reports say from people who were there
