And we are back. Moortown picking up the points in the rest week, Wetherby may feel hard done by with the score in the called off fixture.
Salem vs Morley - Salem off the back of their cup victory and at home. Think they will have enough to grab a result. Even without the RL imports. Salem -7
Donny vs Pock - league leaders vs bottom of the pile. Feel like this could be a tough day for Donny. Pock +7
Old Brods vs Scarborough - Game of the week. A long trip for the team on the east coast, to a very steep hill. Both teams will want to keep the pressure on Pock, and both will want to bounce back after their recent losses. Going for a tight affair. Scarborough -7
Ponte vs crocs - crocs to continue their new found gritty form vs a struggling Ponte team. Crocs -7
M&N vs moortown - even without Towns recent win, can see this be a high scoring home win. Tough place to go. M&N +7
Wetherby vs Selby - Narrowly missed out on game of the week. 2 very free flowing expansive teams. Would be a great watch. Both teams to get a bonus point but edging more towards an away win. Selby -7
$alem vs Morley - $alem seem to be finding a bit of form with the return of the NRL players, and Morley have been up and down this season. I fancy $alem just -7.
Donny P vs Pock - Donny yet to get anything functioning at all this season, whereas everything seems to be going right for Pock. Pock by a cricket score.
Old Brods vs Scarborough - Game of the week! I fancy Old Brods on the Halifax Hill. Scarborough won't want to lose 3 on the bounce, this could lead to a high scoring game. Brods-7 both try BP.
Ponte vs Crocs - Probably one of the trickier games to predict this week Crocs with a number of close results. However, If the Ponte pack can get a rumble on i fancy them to take the points.
M&N vs Town - Not much said about the Town result vs Wetherby last week, Wetherby will definitely feel aggrieved but after watching it myself it looked like a resurgent Moortown team playing with the same flair of a couple of years ago - it really could and maybe should've been a 30/40 point win. Having said this M&N is one of the trickiest places to go in the league but i fancy Moortown to build on that momentum. Town +7
Wetherby vs Selby - Selby seem to be getting better week on week, I fancy them to take the points against a wobbling Wetherby side. Selby -7
Always a high scoring affair with Malton - it'll be a great game that.
Salem vs Morley - Impresive result by Salem at York but taking Morely to get the points here.
Donny vs Pock - hard to see past a pock win
Old Brods vs Scarborough - Should be a cracker im going for the first draw of the season
Ponte vs crocs - tough call but going for Ponte with home adv
M&N vs moortown - anouther game were i cant see much in it so just going with home adv for a M&N win
Wetherby vs Selby - Looking forward to hosting Selby for first time in my memory in a league game and as always backing our lads wetherby win
Salem v Morley - Must win for Morley if as their members tell me they are going to be promotion contenders, so taking Morley to win just.
Donny P v Pocklington – Bonus point win for Pocklington
Old Brods v Scarborough – MOTD for me. Expecting a close game but with home advantage and the sloping pitch giving Brods a bonus point win.
Pontefract v Old Crocs – Old Crocs to win a close game and kick start their season.
M&N v Moortown – Home advantage just giving M&N the win but with Moortown getting a bonus point or two.
Wetherby v Selby – If Wetherby are at their best then Wetherby win just otherwise Selby.
Salem vs Morley - Salem have come good and are going to be very hard to beat at home if they have all their players available. I'm not sure how well Morley travel so I'm going for a +7 for Salem.
Donny vs Pock - Sorry Donny, hope you price us all wrong but this looks like a very hard day at the office.
Old Brods vs Scarborough - After two losses the last thing you'd want is a an away trip to Brods on a damp weekend!! Form gives this to Brods. Scarborough have a few players back so hopefully will find some form.
Ponte vs crocs - agree with others that this is a tough one to call. Crocs have clearly found their feet and are going to be a tough nut to crack. Ponte are no mugs either especially at home. I think home advantage could just tip a very close match.
M&N vs moortown - Had this been at Moortown I would have said a relatively easy win for the disco ball boys. But a soggy farmers field with foot long grass is another matter. It will be maltons umpa lumpas against Moortown backs. 45-44 to one of the teams!!
Wetherby vs Selby - The final match is as intriguing as a few of the others. Selby going well with a good 8 and a good centre. I'm not sure how fit they are as they faded a lot when Scarborough eventually started playing towards the end of the match. Wetherby have had their rubbish spell and will want to bounce back at home. I'm going for a Wetherby close win.
Donny vs Pock. Pock to win nut not as easily as people think. Only a couple scores in it.
Wetherbs vs Selby. Closest match of the day I would think. Wetherby to grind a result out.
Ponte vs Crocs. Crocs but a couple of tries.
Malton vs Moortown. Moortown to edge this one.
Old Brods vs Scarbados. Old brods to win a scrappy affair on the slope
Sea Eagles vs Morley. Looking like Salem are hitting form amd will likely see this ober the line wothout too much of a problem.
Doncaster vs Pocklington - Needs no prediction. Pocklington with their ever strengthening squad to win by a fair few scores.
Wetherby vs Selby - Selby to win by over 10 points here.
Pontefract vs Old Crossleyans - Old Crossleyans very much in form and will look to continue winning ways here.
Malton vs Moortown - Moortown will be hot off a win and could be back to their old ways, has something changed? Moortown to win the closest match of the day.
Old Brodleians vs Scarborough - a clash of titans and yet to see both team sheets. Scarboroughs big guns are out and wont accept losing 3 on the bounce yet Old Brodleians seem to be trundling along nicely. Scarborough will try get under the Brodleains skin but home advantage will see the Brodleians win again. Old brodleians by less than 7.
Bradford Salem vs Morley - you have heard of El Classico well this is El Big Budgeto - Salem on the up and Morley struggling to find form even with a big budget (only eclipsed by Salems) this game will be costing a few thousands pounds which makes my head hurt. Salem to win though by less than 7, NRL/Superleague fitness to come to the fore and win from behind in the last 15 minutes.
Salem v Morley - This could be another close encounter and with a Salem win it could tighten the middle of the table up. I feel a Draw here.
Donny P v Pocklington – 1st vs 12th only 1 result here and that's 5 points for Pock.
Old Brods v Scarborough – the battle of 2nd in the league, I think Brods may take this purely on Home advantage with Scabs picking up a bonus point.
Pontefract v Old Crocs – Old Crocs will continue to struggle away from home 5 Point win Ponte.
M&N v Moortown – This could be a tight game but off the back of a big W last week I think Town will take 5 Points at the Gannock
Wetherby v Selby – If Wetherby have the same team as last week Selby will take 5 points.
Nice win for Town again - two away wins in a row. 👏👏👏👏👏

Ouch that result at Donny cant remeber seeing a scoreline like that often in this division
Good match at Brods played in the right spirit.
I drove home scratching my head all the way about how Scarborough managed to lose, we left 3 or 4 tries on the field after not finishing our chances.
Brods had an excellent diving maul and set scrum but were handled reasonably comfortably in ever other area of the match by Scarborough - who were back to their best (other than finishing).
I thought the referee refed very well and had a nice manner about him. Just like players, referees make mistakes, sometimes glaring ones. Its unfortunate that the small number of mistakes he made today led to two Brods tries.
To be clear, there are no complaints about the result. Brods were only ever going to win by getting the ball into the corner and driving over - they managed that with the last play of the match and the game lasts 80 mins, not 79.
Scarborough played badly for the last two matches and lost. Today they played very well and although we lost there are no concerns about future matches.
What a weekend it has been :-X
Tough day to be Donny!
Good wins for Town and Wetherby.
Well deserved week off some would say.

Brilliant strike to kick the 3 points if thats any consolation
Congratulations to both Old Brods and Scarborough as I don't recall any girly screechy whooping yesterday.
I hope VEO doesn't prove me wrong.
When Old Brods won with the last play of the match it provoked proper old fashioned sporting delight and cheering. The best way to win and the worst way to lose a match!
Good result for Wetherby yesterday and a well needed 5 points after 3 weeks of poor performances, missing key players and some complacency.
Selby put up a really good fight in the first half. If Wetherby had their kicking boots on the scoreline would have been a little wider.
A well needed rest after 5 tough games in a row.

Respect to the Donny lads for the effort put in right to the end.
Obviously the score line shows the game was one way traffic but the home side did continue to attack throughout and for the first 10 of the second half had some decent possession and looked like they might go over on a couple of occasions.
Angry Ginge at 12 had a lively afternoon!
Good summary BRB great game. Your backs were amazing Brods forwards won the game. Match Report now on Brods website.
