This weeks fixtures ;
Burley vs Phoenix - close game to be won by the away team. Phoenix -7
Castleford vs Barnsley - if the home team turn up this week they'll win. Castleford -7
Dearne valley vs W Hills - the home teams winning streak to end this week against the league leaders. Hills +7
Hemsworth vs Thorne - Hemsworth to get back to winning ways. Hemsworth +7
Hornsea vs Skipton - the longest away day in the league for 2 teams at the wrong end of the table. Home advantage to count. Hornsea -7
WPL vs Corinthians - Corinthians aren't the animal on the road like they're at home. WPL -7
Roll on Saturday and good luck all 🏉🏉
Burley vs Phoenix - Getting a bit cold for the students, so backing Roth here. RP +7.
Castleford vs Barnsley - Cas really need a result before Christmas to stop the rot. Barnsley will smell blood here though. Barnsley -7.
Dearne Valley vs Wheatley Hills - 3 on the bounce for DV. They'll be kicking themselves over the early season walkover, but nice to see them come good. Wheatley Hills a different test altogether however. WH +7.
Hemsworth vs Thorne - Thorne being the only side to beat Wheatley Hills becomes a more puzzling result by the week. Hemsworth have a great opportunity here to leapfrog someone with WPL and Corinthians playing each other. Hemsworth +7.
Hornsea vs Skipton - Skipton's low scoring tendencies to cost them here. Hornsea can score points, and they shouldn't need many to edge this one. Hornsea -7.
WPL vs Corinthians - Game of the week. Would pick the home team whoever it was based on the records of these two. That happens to be WPL this time. WPL -7.
Burley vs Phoenix: RP +7
Castleford vs Barnsley: Barno -7
Dearne Valley vs Wheatley Hills: Weatos +7
Hemsworth vs Thorne: Hems +7
Hornsea vs Skipton: Skips -7
WPL vs Corinthians: WPL +7
Just over a 3rd of the way through the season now and it's still all to play for at both ends of the table.
Burley 13-27 Rotherham
Castleford 27-12 Barnsley
DV 21-28 W Hills
Hemsworth 45-5 Thorne
Hornsea 15-12 Skipton
WPL 12-23 Corinthians
All reasonably close games this week apart from in Hemsworth (what has happened to Thorne compared to the start of the season ?)
Hornsea getting a much needed win against a team they now go above.
Dearne valley Wheatley Hills was closer than expected, can that be out down to the weather ?
Corinthians getting a win away at WPL, I don't think many teams will win there this season.
