Merry Christmas to everyone in Y2, enjoy the break.
You too!
Cheers for getting the forum back active!
Have a good one
It's not the same without flaggy ;D
Don't worry Vannie, he's still busy annoying everyone higher up the food chain. ;D
Merry Christmas everyone.
Any predictions for promotion and relegation as we enter a new year?
I reckon Otliensians and Brid to go up but Hegians could surprise a few.
Ossett and Northallerton to go down
Locky,
not annoying anyone as those Lancs and Cheshire boys dont have a platform such as this to wind each other up on. Making lots of new friends, and I must say that generally they all seem to be decent folk. BUT, we do miss the banter of and playing against Yorkshire clubs who will always be close to our hearts. Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year from all of us at Ribb whilst we are in exile.
Flaggy, great to hear from you. Shame this concept hasn't rippled past Yorkshire as it's a great platform to share news, views and general bull.
Looks like Ribb are flying again and could be hitting the nationals before you know it. All the best and I shall raise a glass of Jameson's in your honour tonight.
In response to "Shep", get down! Assuming two up and down each division and no level transfer nonsense:
Going up to Y1 will be Brid and OOs. Coming down from Y1 will be Beverley and Leos
Going down to Y3 will be Ossett and Bramley P. Coming up from Y3 will be Wheatley Hills and Leeds Corinthians.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Looks like Brid are a force too far this season with OOs on the tail, still fairly early but the hegians v OOs game first week back will likely decide which of the two join Brid, or open the door for HLH
As for relegation I'm going ossett and Halifax, Northallerton seem to be competing and BP will pick up results going into the spring.
Merry Xmas All!
I suspect that Brid and OOs will be be promoted. Agree with others that the Hegians vs OO game on 3rd January will be decisive, but OO have all the contenders at home in the NY. Ref relegation, reckon Ossett and Halifax, though the weather and N'ton player availability could have a bearing.
Keeping a squad fit will be the deciding factor
Wishing all a HNYr

Sluggy- You are absolutely spot on there!
North should be ok - player fitness dependant 😬
