Don't suppose there will be much love in the air this weekend and hopefully not too many players will be pussy-whipped into going shopping or for romantic spa weekends?
Halifax v Bramley Phoenix
Halifax vandals v Bradford & Bingley
Northallerton v Ripon
Old Otliensians v Huddersfield Laund Hill
Ossett v Roundhegians
Baildon v Bridlington
Fax v Feenix: BP may have enough points and sass to threaten here, but with Fax up against the ropes think they'll have enough to bully a home win. Fax -7
Hooligans v B&B: Instinct suggests that B&B won't be intimidated by the wind, rain, altitude and attitude. B+B +7
Old Farmers v Rugrats: Almost like another home game for a Ripon squad blowing hot and cold at the moment. Think a sniff of getting into the top half of the table with another high octane performance will be on the cards for the Rugrats. Ripon +7
OOs v Laundry: Tough one to call - pace v power. If Ots can use their speedy and elusive Wing better, could go their way. OOs -7
Wakey Windups v Snoozers: Another sleep walk to victory for the dark horses of the season. Hegians +7
Bai£don v All at sea: Seeing how badly Brid travelled this weekend and knowing what Baildon can be like at home, I suspect this has the makings of another humiliation for the champions elect. Bai£don +7

Halfiax v BP- thinking it will be a BP for BP this weekend. +7
HV v B&B- people seem to be underestimating Bradfords chances here a bit IMO, don't think vandals will have enough to stop them and Bradford should run a few tries in. B&B +7
Northallerton v Ripon- would have said Northallerton at home in the wet will have this but after seeing Ripon last two results they look to have found some form. Ripon -7
OOs v HLH- otley know all they have to do is keep winning and they'll get the job done but going to go for an upset here. HLH -7
Hegians v ossett- hegians struggled away at ossett over the last few seasons however looking at league positions and results they should be able to rack up a hefty BP win. Hegians +7
Baildon v Brid- a baildon win would really blow the title race back open, baildon never an easy place to go and after brids result last week gonna go for a narrow baildon victory. Baildon -7

B&B -7
Ripon +7

All credit to the Baildon ground staff for preparing 2 playable surfaces after last weekends horrendous conditions. Despite this week's deluge it's all good to go. Miraculous
Jumper mate, you have omitted the OO v HLH prediction - is the game off or has it been a difficult week? :)
No disrespect intended "Shep", but I can't see how much ground maintenance there is to do on a pitch on top of a hill - cut the grass occasionally and paint some lines on it? Baildon ground staff probably sat in the bar having a brew and a laugh? :)
Gaters - if you're listening? Fancy a side wager on Ripon 2nds v Pythons 2nds? I'm going Ripon +7, though I would wouldn't I?
OO's is off mate, although I would've been backing them if that's any points...

Massive thanks to the Ripon setup for working behind the scenes with us to get a game on as we are struggling this week. I might be incorrect but I believe we have 12/13 and Ripon have about 25 so great to get everyone a game. Obviously I'm going Pythons +7 but that depends on which players you give us! For the sake of the ref please don't give us all the Drane's at once, yours plus ours all on one team might cause the ref to retire on the spot!
Baildon getting a game on this week made me laugh! I'm guessing they had poor availability or bottled it last week?
Top of a hill, less rain, but couldn't be on.
Top of the hill, more rain, game on?
Gatey,
we will offer the same when you come to us to fullfil the fixture. Its better for 30-35 lads to get a game rather than a called off game and nobody gets a game. Well done Ripon, and Pythons for accepting said assistance.

Frozen pitch apparently.
Gaters, thanks for the acknowledgement, Ripon do genuinely endeavour to help out where they can. Fortunately (for some) there is one Drane in the 1st XV squad, unfortunately he's not the chatty one!
Northallerton v ripon off
Frozen pitch , ref was coming from Huddersfield and wanted to know by 11am .
Cheers Bastoigne, understandable.
With three games going ahead, remaining predictions valid.
Is this the second week Baildon haven't fancied it?
Amazing what you can get away with when you've got RFU links with dodgy handshakes and all that.
Ignored an alternate venue last week, I've just read too.
Disappointed with Northallerton's decision to call the game off at 11.00 when their pitch seemed well playable at 11.30. Ripon's pitches were perfectly ok and hardly in a different time zone. Oh well, this leg has to be played at some point.

Dear Mr Locked, as pointed out earlier, the ref wanted to know by 11am, at which point the pitch was still frozen. Admittedly by 2pm it was ok but what else could they have done.
North also had quite a good team available for a change. With cup games to play maybe a mid week night game might be on the cards 🤷
Noted thanks Shiners, will leave replay arrangements to the powers that be as I don't have that level of influence. Not sure Ripon's floodlights are up to match quality though?
Can't see Baildon v Vandals match being on after all this rain. Unless....
Well, there is a very high water table in BD17.
