Title: 8th March prediction
Post by: old style prop on Mar 05, 2025, 10:43 AM
Bradford Salem V Goole - BS not on best form at moment but at home would expect them to take the win.

Donny Phoenix V Scarborough - should be a cracker expect close game with the team that takes the most 3 pointers getting the result, going for Scarborough to just edge it.

Moortown V Morley - Moortown must be one of the seasons most inconsistent teams and hard to predict but would expect Morley to take the win here.

Old Brods V Wetherby - Looking forward to visiting OBs as always backing Wetherby to take the win.

Pontefract V Rochdale - Game of the week and chance for Rochdale to secure the championship this week, but Ponty a tough ground to go to and taking them to win it to keep the 1st place spot still in play for anouther week.

Malton V Old Crocs - Chance for M&N to secure their place in NE2 for next season and also must win game for Crocs if they want to avoid the drop so both teams will be going hammer and tongs at it. Going for home advtange with M&N to take the win.

Brad Salem v Goole – Unless anything strange happens Goole are now relegated. Hope they can end their season with a win or two. Salem have lost their last two games and I'm hoping for a Goole win.

Donny P v Scarborough – Expecting a close game, home advantage and Phoenix fighting for their place in the league going for a Phoenix win.

Moortown v Morley – Very close game but just a Morley win.

Old Brods v Wetherby -  Another close game with no confidence home advantage to give Brods a win.

Ponte v Rochdale – Ponte at their best and at home where they are capable of beating anyone. So I'm going for a Ponte  win to make the end of the season interesting & open up the promotion race.

M&N v Old Crocs – Game between the leagues two under achievers, think Crocs will want the win more. Bonus point win for Crocs.

Bradford Salem V Goole - shock away win.

Donny Phoenix V Scarborough - dear oh dear, no easy games. Lots of changes for Scarborough and Donny fighting hard.

Moortown V Morley - Bonus point win for Moortown

Old Brods V Wetherby - Should be a regulation away win but have wetherby experienced the "hill" yet? They should still have enough.

Pontefract V Rochdale - Ponte will upset the form book I think and make Rochdale wait another week.

Malton V Old Crocs - Crocs on form and will away from home here.

Salem vs Goole - Backing Goole, Salem seem to have given up on this season. Away win.

Donny vs Scarborough - Away win, but won't be easy.

Moortown vs Morley - Morley will be too big and physical, but I expect a high scoring game. Morley BP Win. Town losing BP point.

Brods vs Wetherby - Brods tough to beat at home. But I think Wetherby are the better team.  Expecting a physical game and an away win.

Ponte vs Rochdale - Ponte need to drag Dale into a dog fight, but I think the away team will have too much quality. Away BP Win.

M&N vs Crocs - Routine home win.

Salem vs Goole - Depends on what team Salem pick. Would like to see Goole win.

Donny vs Scarborough - Scarbs seem to have fallen away recently so going with home win

Moortown vs Morley - Previous encounter, Morley totally dominated town in the second half with the Morley pack bullying the town pack. If Morley's pack can get on top again then I can see an away win. However, Morley's scrum was taken apart last week. If they don't get back on track then town are in with a decent chance of picking up the win.

Brods vs Wetherby - I think Brods will win with home advantage. both are physical teams and it should be a good battle.

Ponte vs Rochdale - Dale know haw to win against big packs. Away win.

M&N vs Crocs - I cannot see past a home win.
