After all of the anticipation and the extended pre season which teams are going to come out on top this week.
Cleckheaton Vs Morley - What a fantastic opening game. This could go either way, both teams will want to put a marker out. Home advantage to take this in a close game. Cleckheaton -7
Pocklington vs Old Brodelians - Another cracking game. Pocklington will want to start as they finished, a very physical game. Pocklington + 7
Bradford Salem vs Moortown - Another close one, Bradford will try to rough up the free flowing Moortown backs and will want a dog fight. I expect it to be close, with no confidence. Moortown -7
Wetherby vs Selby - A big test for both sides. Wetherby will want to see where they are at compared to the last campaign & Selby will be tested physically. My expectation is that the Selby back line will have too much speed. Selby +7
Pontefract vs Dinnington - Ponte seemed to have had a good pre season, new coach and it looks like they are backing their youth this year. Dinnington are a big set of lads, two very different teams. Ponte +7
Wath vs Malton & Norton - Probably the last place you want to travel on the opening day. I do not know much about Wath, but I know Malton are tough to beat anywhere. Malton +7
Was tough to call all of these, shows how good the league is going to be this year. It's wide open.

Pock+7 Too good at Percy Road
Moortown -7 Too good for Salem despite mercenaries back in the fold. Team spirit over the envelopes.
Selby +7 Too good at home for Weth.
Ponte +7
Wath +7 Very difficult place to go first up. Wath seem a club on the rise and think it will take a good team to beat them on their own patch. Good well run club and good people just hope the local Wolves have stopped defecating on the pitch.
Cleckheaton Vs Morley - A bit of unknown with Cleck, Morley will be chomping at the bit this year. Looks like they have added some quality. Morley in a tight one. Morley -7
Pocklington vs Old Brodelians - Both teams very quiet in terms of off season signings. Can only go off last season 2nd VS 3rd. Pock just given home advantage. Pock -7
Bradford Salem vs Moortown - What a start for both these. I expect a tough, fiery game. No doubt Moortown will be fit given their pre season. Moortown +7
Wetherby vs Selby - Selby dark horses for me. Wetherby struggled last year and not heard anything in terms of incomings. Selby + 7
Pontefract vs Dinnington - Again unknown in terms of Dinno both them and Wath cruised Y1. Ponte with a new coach on home soil have them to just pip it. Ponte -7
Wath vs Malton & Norton - Again with Wath, unknown. Small pitch but a tough place to go first up. Malton also strong but Wath clearly a decent side. Draw
Great to have league rugby back, have a good season all.

Cleck vs Morley - Money bags Morley vs a Relegated Cleck, Both teams played and beat Sandal in pre season so this will be a close match up. Cleck -7
Pock vs Brods - Another Close one if you go off last season but who has the better squad and has had the better pre season. Pock -7
Ponte vs Dinno - Promoted Dinno make the trip up to the beautiful Pontefract, Dinno will be eager to make an impact in this league so I expect a good fight from them. Dinno +7
Wath vs M&N - 1st Game and 1 bust trip for M&N I would assume to a smelly Wath, Again Wath have something to prove in this league and playing at home will give them an advantage. Wath +7
Wetherby vs Selby - Wetherby without last years star man and skipper, could that have a big impact on selection and will the new skipper get it right. Only time will tell. Selby +7
Cleck Vs Morley - Money Morley will be trying to get a statement win, however I feel that the Cleck stalwarts will have something to say about it. CLOSE game, Cleck -7
Pock Vs Brods - Not much rugby on show here, two teams that love playing 1 up rugby (effectively). Having watched both teams last year. Big travel for the Halifax boys, Pock to run away with it in the second half. Home win by a fair few. Pock +7
Bradford Salem Vs Moortown - Salem announced a lot of signings, but from their social videos seem to be lacking on training numbers. Moortown have recruited well & will be expecting to win. A physical game, Moortown +7
Wetherby Vs Selby - Wetherby will start fast and strong, but I think Selby will have more quality in depth and will run away with the game in the latter parts. Selby +7
Ponte Vs Dinno - Who actually knows, I always thought Ponte were better than their league position suggested. Dinnington will fancy this, but backing home win in a tight game. Ponte -7
Wath Vs Malton & Norton - I expect Malton to grind this one out in a low scoring game. Malton -7

No doubts I have single handily created the best back line this league has and will ever see, and with a desperate attempt to sign my old friend and favourite player to coach (Luke gale's cousin), Bradford look in dire straits. easy dub
It is my 1st prediction after my little cousin Jordan told me to join the Forum.
