Ilkley vs Hull
Can see Hull sneaking this one. They seem to be on a bit of a roll at the moment.
Hull

Middlesbrough vs Driffield
Unsure about this one. As after their result against Alwnick I expected more of a competitive game against Blaydon.
Driffield just.

North Ribblesdale vs Blaydon
Blaydon not enjoying their travels, but can see them running Ribb close and taking the steals.
Blaydon

Alnwick vs Northern
Northern the surprise package so far. But I can't see past Alwnick here.
Alnwick

Sandal vs Scunthorpe
Sandal seem no where near their best. So will have to go with Scunthorpe.
Scunthorpe

Scarborough vs York
Again I think this will be a high scoring affair. More about who can score more points than who can stop letting them in.
Scarborough

Ilkley v Hull. It's a question of whether the big Hull pack take charge. Ilkley last week certainly faded 2nd half, and had men binned. Their backs if they get ball could win them the game. I will take a chance on ilkley win.

Middlesbrough v Driffield. Essential win for both teams to get their season properly underway. Driff played well 2nd half last week and I hope they continue in that vein. Driff win.

N. Ribb v Blaydon. Home win I would expect.

Alnwick v Northern. This should be a real contest with Northern on the up. However I take the home side to continue their winning ways.

Sandal v Scunthorpe. Scunthorpe must be upset by last week's result at home and I anticipate a winning reaction from them.

Scarborough v York. I cannot see anything but a home win here. York seem to be improving but not enough to turn the tide here.

Ilkley - I think both sides struggle on their travels but are very strong at home, so backing the home side for this fixture.

Driffield - Middlesbrough appear to be in a difficult spot with their result at Blaydon last week. Driffield to take advantage of this.

Blaydon - Flying high after last week's performance, I think their form should continue.

Alnwick - Another side that punishes teams at home. While Northern's run has been very impressive, I think this fixture will separate them in the top of the table clash.

Scunthorpe - I think Sandal will be outgunned by a stronger side.

Scarborough - I think a repeat of last week for York. Scarborough to continue flying high.

Can't see it making any difference to predictions tbh but BRB is correct in his original post: Northern are at home to Alnwick.

Ilkley v Hull. Ilkley will have too much for Hull at home. It will be a free flowing match but not sure I can the home side letting this one slip.

Middlesbrough v Driffield. Not a lot in this. By all accounts this is a match that our boys should have won and there is a bit of talk that Middlesbrough having a soft underbelly (i.e. bottle it). Therefore I expect Driff to come away with a surprisingly easy win.

N. Ribb v Blaydon. North Ribb should run in a few tries here in a comfortable win.

Northern v Alnwick. Alnwick obviously favourists and I expect them to lose a couple away this year. This could be one but I doubt it. But only just - away win.

Sandal v Scunthorpe. Sandel are no mugs - they did well for most of the match last week so I think they might sneak a cheeky close home win.

Scarborough v York. Dear or dear, how the wheels can come off a relatively decent start to the season. Holidays, injuries and unavailability's leave Scarborough without 8 usual players. A treat for York this week who won't believe their luck at the home sides disruption.

Ilkley vs Hull
Tough to call, I think Driffield played Hull at their best, and Ilkley on an off day. So I do think Ilkley will have enough to win this.
Ilkley Win

Middlesbrough vs Driffield
Hodgson was back on the bench last weekend, not that it helped the result at all. Big fixture for both sides seasons moving forward.
Driffield Win

North Ribblesdale vs Blaydon
Blaydon should have more than enough to win this. But will they get off the bus?
Blaydon Win

Northern vs Alnwick
This is tougher to call than I thought it would be. But Alnwick should have enough experience by now to get through this one.
Alnwick Win

Sandal vs Scunthorpe
Sandal will have a purple patch in the season they always do, but think Scunthorpe will be to much this week.
Scunthorpe Win

Scarborough vs York
BRB is loving playing down Scarboroughs chances each week at the moment. It's been a very long 1st section of games without a break so most squads will be riddled with injuries.
Scarborough Win

Ilkley v Hull - not seen the team yet and hope that Magee is back, but I fancy Ilkley to win this, being at home too.

Middlesboro' v Driffield - best lunch of the season last Saturday at Driff, but the Dalesmen were well off form and Driffield fought back very well. I think a similar performance will give them the edge here.

North Ribb v Blaydon - a great test for the other Dalesmen and at home too. Go on, Ribb, you can do it !

Northern v Alnwick - reality has hit Northern a little and playing the league favourites is a daunting task. Alnwick to make the most of their shortest away trip.

Sandal v Scunthorpe - always a difficult place to visit, but I think Scunny will be too strong.

Scarborough v York - injuries or not, Scarbs at home at the Holiday Inn should be enough to edge a high-scoring game.
